I hope our southern members stay safe from the hurricane.
Just noticed the edge. Well, I have an afternoon chore.

Thanks Jeremy, for all the fuss about the rain, there really hasn't been a lot. In fact, when I was in town earlier, I came across a brass band playing outside one of the old hotels, and a load of people, aged from 5 to 55 dancing around to them. At one point, there was a middle-aged gent in a Barbour jacket, a young Goth girl, and a young boy and his mum, all going for it on the pavement! Thanks Jack, hope your post-market day is going well and not too much rain.
The glocks will be going back soonYour Glocks are shrinking, Dwight!![]()
I hope you all stay safe there Jeff, great pics of DiegoWill, Endurance looks great and is well named! Here in SW Florida we already have flooding (not at our home, thankfully) and Helene isn't even here yet.
Prayers appreciated for minimal damage to life, limb and property! Diego is getting much pocket time and fondling.

Thanks buddyThanks for the report Jack and nice pictures of Shultz !
Outstanding Joseph Rodgers
Thanks Kurt, I'm not sure why folks here have such faith in the weather forecasts, which are accurate less than half the timeSorry to hear the weather discouraged folks from visiting the market today Jack. More cake and spam for next week. Here in Santa Cruz the weather is definitely turning more fall like. I have a knife from Ashwin here for today. I’m going shopping later this morning so it’ll get used to open some packaging at least. Those turkeys are Butterball and Rock. I can only tell them apart by the shape of their chest beards now. Best friends those two. Have a good Thursday Guardians.

Hope your special knife arrives safe and sound JeffThank you all for the well wishes and prayers for safety from Helene. It now looks pretty certain that all we will get is 3-4 inches of rain and 40 mph winds. The Big Bend and the Panhandle are where it looks bad for later tonight. Barrett, the unique GL-24 was scheduled for delivery today, but all government offices closed today because of the hurricane, so hopefully it will land safely tomorrow. I'm off work, so you all will get flooded (bad pun, sorry) with photos as soon as it is in hand.
I'm not sure that was sufficient reason to post your Pradel here Bob
You should have been a lawyer Barrett! That’s one of those rare French Lambsfoot models, right, Bob?I think they call it “un pied d’agneau.”

Sorry Will, I dropped your postSorry to hear that, Jack. Here, these hideous (in my view, at least) "white cube" things have historic Coconut Grove in a stranglehold.

Lately, and to the shock of the tone-deaf owners, the city has been reassuring residents that because they are such a blank slate, they'll be able to be aesthetically reintegrated back to something like the city's original Bohemian (and Bahamian) vibe.
And yes, the worker in the picture is wearing a sombrero.
Exquisite specimen there, Bob!
Down in Miami it's a nice day. Windy, a touch cooler than it has been, and not very wet at all. We've been very lucky lately down here.
Thanks, Jeff! Stay safe!
Man, that's a really neat one.Gives me 'Farm and Field' vibes.

Besides some knocked down wind chimes and staghorn ferns, Helene has left Miami well enough alone it seems! Hope the rest of the Guardians in her path experience the same!
I've been walking around all day with Endurance, not for her cutting prowess (considerable, mind you) - but because she feels so nice in my hand.

Stagnator Wright voted "yea" on Endurance receiving state-subsidized assistance, based on her age and upstanding character, and volunteered for the position as well! At this rate, his reelection is nearly a guarantee, as he is quite close to securing the endorsement of the only voter in his district (me)!
The awesome slip Jeremy sent me is building character by the day and has become very accustomed to accompanying Endurance when she's not in my hand.
Make it great, Guardians!
Thanks Leon, that's a fine RodgersSliding down the page..

That sounds like a great time! Your food looks tasty.Catching up with some mates tonight to camp at the family’s shack. 50 acres out near the mountains is a nice little getaway.
But first brekky, haven’t had an appetite lately so looking forward to a decent feed.

I kinda like that ... but I'm kinda weird...Lately, and to the shock of the tone-deaf owners, the city has been reassuring residents that because they are such a blank slate, they'll be able to be aesthetically reintegrated back to something like the city's original Bohemian (and Bahamian) vibe.
