Good to see your '18 Jer :)
Another excellent Market Report there Jack. I hope Shirley takes the knobkerrie home. It looks like she knows how to use it. :)
Thanks Kurt, yeah, she could do with clearing house I reckon! :D

If you don't have any success let me know.
Thanks mate, your post was a helpful reminder to go and look! :D I wonder if Tool Man wants one for his Gipton Special?! 🤣

Yes indeed, I sure hope those folks get more help than they seem to have had so far :( Handsome Pile-side shot Bob :)

Great to see you here buddy, and I hope things have eased up fopr you a little :) Cool pics

I try my friend ;)

It's been a lovely day here, but definitely not warm enough for AC :D Your Needham is cool as a cucumber David

Rosie is a real looker Steve, great pics

LOL! :D Thanks buddy :)

Nice work Leon, what do you use the pouch with the Sam Browne stud for?

It was a lovely morning here in Leeds, and Gravel was already there at the stall, by the time I arrived, along with Boring Ray and Tool Man. We had coffee and jam doughnuts, and chewed the fat :) Boring Ray asked me if I could tell him about the shillelagh he had acquired, to which he'd affixed a large, stupid, price sticker. Ray is known for ridiculously overpricing his stock, which puts off many customers, and he eventually parts with them, after they have sat on his stall for months, at a fraction of his original price. In this case, the item, which his doltish 'research' had informed him was made of blackthorn, was in fact a knobkerrie. As Ray had never heard the term before, I showed him an article on my phone, but he was only interested in how much it might be worth. In less than 5 minutes, without doing any further research, he was speaking authoritatively to all and sundry about the item, including me, and confidently telling us it's age and provenance, which he continued to expand on every 5 minutes throughout the day

I thought Long-suffering Shirley might be interested in the item. She is mainly long-suffering, because her 2 unmarried, and feckless, sons still live with her, and the knobkerrie might make a good walloping stick! ;)

I wandered off to go and chat with Golden Gordon, and spotted this interesting vehicle.

Musical Andy suffered a heart attack a few months back, and has had to retire sadly, but he did call in for a chat, and will hopefully do so again. Another visitor was Billy The Ted, who is always good conversation, and especially well-turned-out

The market regulars were very impressed with my new Cosimo De Bendetto Lambsfoot :)

Gravel went to fetch some mushroom and onion bhajis, and Slimline Scott's greedy nose followed him back to the stall! Harry Hotballs arrived soon after too, and it looks like Tool Man was instructing him on the finer points of Boogie Woogie piano playing :D

The Teds are off to York for a weekend pub crawl, so I hope they get better weather than I did in York on Monday
Enjoyed the market report buddy. I don't drink anymore but if I did I'd surely would like a night of pub crawling with the Teds 🤣
A better photo to give you an idea. Really well made, and can be attached to a belt. Were very common 60 years ago, especially when fob watches were very common. That is what they were originally designed for. 👌 .

Ya gotta love the old stuff. Thank you Springfield!

Excellent report pal. Your new lamb is stunning and peerless.

Hello friends. Just got this TEW lamb back from glennbad glennbad . Unfortunately this old bex gave him fits but as he always does, he made it perfect. The covers are redwood burl. Thank you Glenn.

Happy to report my mother in laws surgery went well. Hopefully we get the news soon that she is 100% cancer free. Thank you everyone for your prayers and well wishes.

On night shift still and got 8 straight days coming up. Got my “new” TEW in the pocket tonight.

That's great news Paul, not so fluffed about your work position though. ;) 🤣🤣🤣. As usual Glen has done a great job, that looks fantastic, huge improvement, and love the slip. Have a good weekend.

I have discovered a DIRECT CORRELATION between this and continuous wardrobe malfunction.

Carry on gents...

A classic Thursday market report, Jack! 😁

That’s a funny story about Boring Ray. I’m thinking of another adjective starting with a “b” that you could maybe substitute in his nickname (compound word, second half starts with an “s”). 😉🤣

Shirley’s sons better watch out! 😁

Sorry to hear about Andy, hope he’s doing well and can at least stop by regularly.

Glad to hear your MIL is doing ok, and I hope she gets some good results back soon! Don’t work yourself too hard! Nice job by Glen, as always.:thumbsup:

We had a nice, cool, overcast day here — my favorite kind of weather — and it worked out well, as I had some knife pictures I needed to take, and I’ve got a favorite spot for taking pics in this weather if I’m out and about. Most of the pics I needed to take were of non-Lambsfoot knives, but of course I snapped one of the Albers Lamb I had in my pocket (Curly Katalox today).
