Hello friends. Just got this TEW lamb back from @glennbad. Unfortunately this old bex gave him fits but as he always does, he made it perfect. The covers are redwood burl. Thank you Glenn.

Happy to report my mother in laws surgery went well. Hopefully we get the news soon that she is 100% cancer free. Thank you everyone for your prayers and well wishes.

On night shift still and got 8 straight days coming up. Got my “new” TEW in the pocket tonight.

That’s a funny story about Boring Ray. I’m thinking of another adjective starting with a “b” that you could maybe substitute in his nickname (compound word, second half starts with an “s”).

Sorry to hear about Andy, hope he’s doing well and can at least stop by regularly.

Thanks Barrett, Ray does something similar nearly every week! I should have just offered him a tenner for his 'shillelagh'! Andy is always impeccably dressed with the clothing of recently deceased men of good taste, which he picks up from charity shops. Tool Man was shamelessly eyeing up a nice Barbour tweed jacket he was wearing yesterday, he even tried it on for size!

We had a nice, cool, overcast day here — my favorite kind of weather — and it worked out well, as I had some knife pictures I needed to take, and I’ve got a favorite spot for taking pics in this weather if I’m out and about. Most of the pics I needed to take were of non-Lambsfoot knives, but of course I snapped one of the Albers Lamb I had in my pocket (Curly Katalox today).

Peppercorn pie, was good!

It was funny, I asked for the pie and the young girl behind the counter slid the card tapper toward me. I said no sorry cash to which she looked surprised.

Handed her $7 for the $6.70 pie, put them money in the till and almost had it closed then asked “oh did you want your change?”. I don’t think she’d ever seen a cash transaction in her life.

Thank you Steve, it's a nice, sunny day, though temperatures are probably in the low 60's. I had 2 coffees in Charlie's, got some shopping from town, and called in at the bank. Plenty I can find to do at home Hope you have a good one buddy

I’ve been absent recently (busy both at home and work) but just spent some time catching up on the thread. This one’s had a strong presence in my carry rotation lately, such a collision of great influences make it a special knife for me. A maker I appreciate, a pattern I love to carry, interesting cover material, and a group that’s great to be a part of.
