Thanks kindly Gary, I do like my "road least taken" wood.I wonder if that was an intentional reprofile?
IMHO, Bob, I don't think that knife is ready for the trash can just yet!!

Happy Belated Birthday, hope it was fantastic! This was literally me, not less than an hour ago, putting the "finishing touches" on the back screened porch. Amazing bit of accurate prognostication there, my friend!!Only, my blower is electric and quite a bit less powerful than the one shown - being a rank amateur, I've no need for the backpack attachment!
Thank you for the birthday wishes, Sir!!
You guys are hells of guys! I've yet to find a way to adequately pluralize the preceeding statement - but y'all know what I mean, right?! Thank you so for the birthday wishes and kind words!![]()

Great market report and pictures !
Cool Checkering !
Nice Mesquite!
Great picture !
Safe travels home to you both !
Gorgeous!
I thought I tended to be rather pessimistic in my reaction to the onset of cooler weather, but, Jack, you've made me look like Susie Sunshine!![]()
Thanks buddy, that's cool
LOL!Jack, maybe the Guardians should ALL get helmets with appropriate logo that we can wear with pride anywhere and everywhere!
When I was looking for Barnitts website, I ran across several old "news items" about them downsizing their store a few years ago.
I figured that's what you were referring to my friendI think you're right about straight blades cutting down on boards, Jack. Most of my pocket knife use is food prep, which is exactly that type of cutting, and that's where I realized I had to use a lambsfoot differently than a bellied blade.
ThanksDramatic, almost decadent, Double Lambs, Jack!![]()
Nothing wrong with that GaryThanks again, Jack.
I don't have great enthusiasm (or talent) for taking photos, but I'm an avid recycler of those I have.![]()
Thank you, definitely an oldie!Glorious golden stag, Jack!![]()
Sorry that's your most recent memory of me Duncan, it was bad luckI'm sad thinking of seeing Jack sitting on the Train, knowing it will be a few years before we meet again, man I tell you guys something, after the fall on those shit stairs Jack hid his pain extremely well, his leg turned out to be very bad- yet it seemed not a big deal to him- I think our Jack is one of those Hard English lads that you probably didn't want to take on, yet he is a stella Gentleman and I look forward greatly to seeing him again!
Glad you made it back, safe and sound DuncanMany Thanks my friend!
We did have a great trip, this one was more of a Family trip- I think this was really needed for Sue and myself, Sue has a wonderful Family and I know she misses them greatly.
Trip home was quite tortuous lol, but we are here, and my treasured Cutlery made it all the way back with me too! I will post up a bit later in other threads once I have a few days breather- I have work tomorrow, so need to get ready and face what is waiting for me![]()
