Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Bon Voyage, Duncan and Sue! Diego is back in action this evening.

Jeff my friend! Thank you, we are home!

I'm sad thinking of seeing Jack sitting on the Train, knowing it will be a few years before we meet again, man I tell you guys something, after the fall on those shit stairs Jack hid his pain extremely well, his leg turned out to be very bad- yet it seemed not a big deal to him- I think our Jack is one of those Hard English lads that you probably didn't want to take on, yet he is a stella Gentleman and I look forward greatly to seeing him again!

Looking forward to the day we meet finally too Jeff! Take care and that Lambsfoot is a Beauty by the way!

I wonder if that was an intentional reprofile?
IMHO, Bob, I don't think that knife is ready for the trash can just yet!!;)

Thanks kindly Gary, I do like my "road least taken" wood.

I am always amazed at the longativity of some knives shown here on the forum.

You're welcome, Duncan, and thanks for the fascinating castle photos!:cool::thumbsup:

I hope you and Sue had a wonderful time during your visit, and that your trip home was safe and relatively hassle-free! :)
Many Thanks my friend! :)

We did have a great trip, this one was more of a Family trip- I think this was really needed for Sue and myself, Sue has a wonderful Family and I know she misses them greatly.
Trip home was quite tortuous lol, but we are here, and my treasured Cutlery made it all the way back with me too! I will post up a bit later in other threads once I have a few days breather- I have work tomorrow, so need to get ready and face what is waiting for me 😄

Good morning Guardians, Friday already! I'm up early, as I have some more work on, and I doubt I'll get a chance to call in at Charlie's today :( I hope everyone has had a good week, and that you have something to look forward to at the weekend :) Safe travels to Campbellclanman Campbellclanman and @Jakeywax31  I'm having a Double Lambsfoot Day :) Have a good Friday Guardians

Thank you SO much Jack :D Beauties- the both of those Lambsfoot.

I hope you got your internet problems sorted out Bob

Jack, that Handle is something else!!! Beautiful.

This was literally me, not less than an hour ago, putting the "finishing touches" on the back screened porch. Amazing bit of accurate prognostication there, my friend!! 🤯 Only, my blower is electric and quite a bit less powerful than the one shown - being a rank amateur, I've no need for the backpack attachment! 😂 Thank you for the birthday wishes, Sir!!

You guys are hells of guys! I've yet to find a way to adequately pluralize the preceeding statement - but y'all know what I mean, right?! Thank you so for the birthday wishes and kind words! ❤️
Happy Belated Birthday, hope it was fantastic!

Great pics, Duncan! Hope you had a fantastic trip, and a safe journey home!
Thank you Barret Matey, we did have a great trip, Home now :D

Sorry about the constant posts, whenever I try to multi quote- I get every single post come up that takes a lot of time to edit- I know I am doing something wrong, but the O'l Brain doesn't want to quite work it out today - rest day for the weary 🤣

Gorgeous! :)
I thought I tended to be rather pessimistic in my reaction to the onset of cooler weather, but, Jack, you've made me look like Susie Sunshine! 🤓😁
🤣 🤣
L'Ariete is Ram-Tough, Jack! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
Thanks buddy, that's cool
Jack, maybe the Guardians should ALL get helmets with appropriate logo that we can wear with pride anywhere and everywhere! 🤓
When I was looking for Barnitts website, I ran across several old "news items" about them downsizing their store a few years ago.
LOL! :D Shame about Barnitt's Gary, they're one of the last here :(
I think you're right about straight blades cutting down on boards, Jack. Most of my pocket knife use is food prep, which is exactly that type of cutting, and that's where I realized I had to use a lambsfoot differently than a bellied blade.
I figured that's what you were referring to my friend :)
Dramatic, almost decadent, Double Lambs, Jack!:cool::thumbsup:
Thanks :)
Thanks again, Jack. :)
I don't have great enthusiasm (or talent) for taking photos, but I'm an avid recycler of those I have. 🤓
Nothing wrong with that Gary :)
Glorious golden stag, Jack! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
Thank you, definitely an oldie! :)

Sorry that's your most recent memory of me Duncan, it was bad luck :( I moan a lot, but I'm not one to whine, when I broke that leg, 20 years ago, I refused pain relief :D Thanks for the kind words brother
Many Thanks my friend! :)
