Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

A real English kind of day. Must have Lambsfoot!

Glad you are feeling better Jack. Have a great weekend everyone.
Vince Happy Birthday to your mom my friend. Mine is 85 and going strong.
Oh... and count me out of the Kimchi.
Beautiful pic Dylan. Now i gotta have a night cap.

Thank you, Dwight. And yes, my thoughts on kimchi are much like yours. Though I have never tried it, the thought of it is somewhat stomach turning...

Thank you Dylan :) Yes, I know what you mean about the IPAs, I stocked up mainly on interesting-looking Porters, Imperial Stouts, and some Trappist beers at Christmas (quite a few IPAs too of course ;)), though in the end, I mainly drank wine, and so still have a good stockpile for when I'm back on my feet again ;) Another lovely pic there my friend :)

An interesting Export Porter brewed by a friend of mine, with my trusty AC, and the equally trusted bottle-opener you very kindly gifted me :)

I am very happy to see that cap lifter getting some use, Jack. That was one I was rather fond of as it felt great in the hand despite its obvious weight. I tend to consume a lot more wine during the colder months alongside some of the darker ales. It is certainly hard to beat a good IPA during the summer though.

That Ironwood is quite fetching!

I've got the Lady in Red with me today. I hope you all are having a terrific weekend so far.

I treasure it all the more for the generosity of the gift Dylan :) Thank you my friend, your Lady is a real stunner if you don't mind my saying. A fine pipe too :)

Added a picture each to post #10415 (ancient mariner) and #10466 (Miyagi miso).

Will go look Jer! :)

@r8shell did say summer tanager, didn't she? My Guide to American Wildlife has western, scarlet, and southern tanagers, the southern ones ranging from upper Michigan to somewhere in South America.
Maybe that one tanager delayed his migration because of the warm weather we'd been having.
Migrating across the Gulf of Mexico reminds me that the lambsfoot is the blade of choice for ancient mariners everywhere.

You'll have to get some more.
Our Miyagi miso was famous because when Japan invaded somebody to the west of them, our boys were the only ones whose miso didn't rot (so much salt in it).

Very good Jer (though I already saw the first pic) I just had some more miso, quite like it, though this one wasn't particularly salty. I might start and take some out with me when I go for a hike

Hope everyone is having good weather and an enjoyable weekend
Really nice here today, I've been on the porch enjoying it.

Looks like a glorious day there Rob, your Horn '18 is showing some great character my friend :)

It's only a week since I went for a hike, but it seems like AGES, and I resent having been stuck in the house for a week! o_O

The weather is absolutely beautiful where I’m at as well after a few cold days. Took the pupper out for a nice walk. Wish I could have taken pictures but the phone camera is acting up. Invest in your purchases!

That's not bad Dave, it stayed around +5C here all week with rain and today turned out beautiful

The weather and Lambsfoot horn both look great Rob! I can't complain we are sitting at +5°C

Thanks Jack, I'm enjoying the 18 Guardian and the weather as well
