Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I try not to get caught up in all the "food talk" in this thread, but sometimes I just can't stop myself!:(
... I just had white miso. It's a natural probiotic, and with the two bouts of norovirus I've had recently, I'd like to restore my gut health. I might have hotdogs and sauerkraut at the weekend ;) :D
...
I can actually claim that sausage and sauerkraut is GOOD for me??:thumbsup::D:cool:

Kimchi, a Korean pickled cabbage dish is also supposed to be good, but I've never tried it
My wife likes kimchi but I'm aftaid to try it! Stinks!
I'm not particularly adventurous when it comes to food, but somewhere along my life's journey I tried kimchi, and I highly recommend it!:thumbsup::) It's kind of like sauerkraut on steroids (and every now and then I'll have some that is incredibly, top-of-the-head-sweating HOT ).

I'd like to claim that some of Black Jack's patina came from helping me eat kimchi, but I don't think that's true.

I love sauerkraut (with sausage and mustard), but I have to say "no" to the steroids. I know you eat healthier than I do, but we have vastly different tastes in food, I fear! ;)

Thanks Dylan, it certainly hasn't been the best start to 2019, but I am definitely on the mend now. Still feel tired and have no appetite, but I don't feel as groggy as I did, even if I look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards! :D Please give Chin my best :)

Ah yes Taylor, roll on summer! :)

Thanks a lot Russell

Another excellent pic Dylan, and that looks like a tasty brew

I've never eaten a tamale, but hope to one day :)

Great story Dwight :D  Before I was ill, I visited the city of York, where one of the museums has some Victorian amusement machines on display (No, not THAT kind!). They run on clockwork mechanisms, you put a coin in, and they start up and go through a short sequence, with sounds as well as motion. I thought you might like to see this one

I don't think I'll get out today, but I have my ebony '18 with me :) Have a good Friday folks, and thanks again for all your kind support

Looks like something straight out of my days as a wee lad. Mr. Rogers would approve

My bull carries a lambsfoot...

...just because!

How 'bout you?
That’s one smart bull

Maybe I'll have to investigate Kimchi afterall :) Thanks for your thoughts on it guys

Has anyone anything exciting planned for the weekend? I think I'm just going to be catching up with a few things. At least some of them will be Lambsfoot related though ;)

I had hoped to get an email out to everyone at the start of the year, but will now hope to do so over the weekend. Have a good one Guardians :)

Jack,
Spending the weekend tending to my wife. She just had her knee replaced and will need my help for once, instead of the other way around.

Still stunning, that ironwood!
Nothing really exciting planned, but going to see me Mum. Turned 88 today. Still kicking!

Oh boy that iron wood is niceeeee.

Nothing too fun this weekend. Gotta go back to work Sunday after almost a month off. Thank you Family Medical Leave Act, still have 3 weeks I can use! I probably will carry my rosewood Lambsfoot tomorrow ;)

Thanks a lot Mark, I have a pint glass next to me, and for once, it is filled with water! :D I'll be filling it up again in 5 minutes :)

Oh, sorry to hear that Taylor, it's the curse of the drinking classes ;)

Very happy to hear you are recovering well, my friend.

Thank you! And yes, it is indeed a tasty brew but I have to admit, I am getting a bit "IPA'd" out. I've been gravitating to more Doppelbocks, Browns, and Black Ales as of late.

And when beers fail to satisfy, whiskey is always a good alternative. Still have the Ebony with me today.
