I spent most of the night in ER, and got a note excusing me from work today. As near as I can understand it, my a-fib has morphed, but I wasn't having a heart attack. I need to pick up a new drug today for the vertigo, and message the electrophysiologist about another drug I thought I didn't need when he mentioned it last time.

Worse things happen at sea.

It's a beautiful day here, not often we get days like it in November. It's been cold all week, but dry and sunny, and today is a little warmer. My soup was tasty

Not my most satisfying ER idyll. There was a sign on the wall that said "Call, Don't Fall', but they never gave me a call-button. Or a TV remote, so I was stuck watching hockey. And Julie the nurse with the shocking blue eyes wasn't there.

At least I didn't trigger my Victorian Gentlewoman's Distemper waiting in the cold for my cab.

Before going shopping, I called round at Matt's, with some birthday presents, including a 'Mountjoy Day Release Scheme' T-shirt I thought he'd like He received a large box in the post, containing 6 large bottles of Buckfast Abbey's notorious "Tonic Wine"! A very peculiar gift to receive from your mother! Particularly, as he doesn't like the stuff!

Sue and I going shopping for an occasional chair as well as starting to look at all new fit out for the Bathroom - that’s our next project- take it all back to the bones and start again - so after the horrific fright of the pricing - I thought it would be neat to go grab some lunch.
I commented on some of the beautiful Horn handled knives here- this knife really stands out for me, it’s quite the stunning Lambsfoot and I wouldn’t swap it for the World!

Hope you get better soon. I had to have a ablation to fix the A-Fib. OTW looking good
