Happy Friday. I’m enjoying my day in a loose pair of sweatpants which are now my go to pants for all holidays. I started the morning with a different lambsfoot but I switched to this one in ironwood. Have a great weekend.

Thanks mate, if he’s lucky he’ll end up looking like his mum. Two of his brothers are spitting images of her as a kid.

Han is a redhead, all our other boys came out bald and then grew strawberry blonde hair. Elliot is the first to come out with hair and dark like me.

Good evening Guardians, I just got back home, after going to see something at the theatre. Before that though, I had quite an encounter! I had got the time wrong, so was an hour early, so I went for a coffee at the theatre cafe. There were only 2 other customers, sat at 2 separate tables, a young woman, who it turns out lives just up the road from me, and a man, who was a few years younger than me, and was in a wheelchair. They both knew each other slightly, as they were part of an amateur drama group, and performing at their annual show. It turned out that they were both from Sheffield, originally, so we got chatting. As the cafe started to get more crowded, we all ended up on the same table. After about 45 minutes, I got up to leave, and we exchanged names. It turned out that the gent in the wheelchair had lived in the area I grew up, and went to the same junior school. He knew my brother, sister, parents, and me! Small world! But that's Sheffield

I hope everyone has a good day. I've done a ton of work this past couple of days, and tomorrow I'm off to Bradford first thing, so I probably won't get a chance to check in, before tomorrow evening. So, I hope you all have a great Saturday Guardians, and I'll catch up with you over the weekend

Double lamb and double Henderson's day. Had both A. Wright Hartshead Barlow and Albers GL-24.

We're having my parents over tomorrow for second Thanksgiving. I'm making a 7 pound turkey breast and started brining it this morning - I included a pretty generous dose of Henderson's in the brine.

We went out to run our dogs around at a succession of different parks, and when we got home we had a package from Jack Black that include a lovely "Yorkshire Lass" beanie for Dawn (who was delighted by it) and a "Henderson's Strong & Northern" beanie for me, which I am also delighted with.

We wore these while we were prepping sides and watching "The Lord of the Rings". You're the very best, Jack! Thank you!

Forgot to add, I also basted the whole thing with butter a couple times while it was cooking.

These pics were taken on a secret secluded beach on Key Biscayne. Those blurry buildings in the background of the following picture are South Beach, albeit from a rarely seen perspective.
