Hello, Guardians!

I've been too busy to keep up with the daily threads that go so fast these days, but I'm still around. Carrying some stag for Solstice (dunno why, but it seems appropriate)

I have been doing housework, shopping, and wrapping presents all day, but it still felt like a holiday, after the week I've had. Sadly, it was not over. I was hoping to meet up with Matt today, and he rang me to say he was just going over to his dad's, and would call by on his way back. Tragically, his dad had died of a heart attack I hope I never have another week like this one

Morning Guardians! Weather is pleasant today. Digging around in a box of Lambs and came across OMJ. OMJ hadn't seen the light of day for awhile so I'm putting OMJ on duty today. Happy trails

Today is the first day of 5 weeks leave. Had a kids birthday party, auntie and uncle are popping in soon and then some relaxing (as much as you can with 4 young kids).

I had a friend, with four kids, that would purchase economy sized jugs of Benadryl from Costco for it's "relaxing" effect on the children. They'd probably call that "poisoning" nowadays, but the kids seemed fine. Kids are, if anything, resilient.

What's going on?! I was in the yuppie cafe! It came with some other green stuff, (I forget what), according to the menu, but I asked them to leave it off. This sort of thing has been happening for a few years here now. The avocado is bad enough, I don't want anything green on my breakfast plate!

Arrgghhh! I was talking about this subject to a young mother the other day. I thought it had been outlawed, but apparently some brands of gripe water still contain up to 9% alcohol!

Haha! They often sleep cuddled in mirror image or yin/yang position.
If anyone is thinking of adopting kittens, I recommend a sibling pair. They keep each other amused, so it's less trouble in some ways than one cat.

One I haven't had out in a while. 1979 coin and 1979 knife. Happy accident as I didn't notice until after I took the pic

So sweet! My mate Matt, got a couple of kittens about 6 months back Another friend, years ago, got a kitten and a ferret around the same time, worked out kind of strange!
