I have been doing housework, shopping, and wrapping presents all day, but it still felt like a holiday, after the week I've had. Sadly, it was not over. I was hoping to meet up with Matt today, and he rang me to say he was just going over to his dad's, and would call by on his way back. Tragically, his dad had died of a heart attack I hope I never have another week like this one

Speaking of breakfast after shopping Kristy cooked breakfast for dinner, bacon & eggs on Turkish with hash brown must be Christmas I wouldn't normally get it

My dad and his GF are headed to New York City for the holidays, so we had a Christmas get together tonight. My dad's GF made flan - not sure how widespread Flan is but it's a custard-like dessert topped with a caramelized sugar sauce. My mom's was infinitely better, but unfortunately, that ship has sailed. In any case, had I known there would be dessert I would've taken Harvey's TEW to the festivities but as it was, I only had The Stagnator: The Second Term with me. It'll have to do.
