Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Steve, that's an intriguing shadow lamb you have, and it looks great on your famed star-post!:cool::thumbsup:
Are the covers glued on over the pins?

Remember when this month was shiny and new, in its first week, Dec. 1-7? It seems like only 4 weeks ago!🤓
I remember that I was carrying LamBarJack, my rosewood Hartshead LAMBsfoot BARlow JACKknife, that week as I watched the snow from an end-of-November storm melt away as December "came in like a lamb(sfoot)".

Merry belated Christmas, Guardians!

Our holidays got off to a bit of a rocky start, and by the time things settled down, I made the decision to stay offline, relax and enjoy the (shortened) time we had with family. I’ve just caught up on all your excellent Christmas posts here in this thread, but I’ll apologize for not quoting/commenting, as there would be too many!

Our Christmas plans this year were to spend the holiday at my brother’s house in St. Louis. A day or two before we were set to drive down, I had a bit of a stomach issue going on, which I chalked up to something I had eaten. It certainly wasn’t pleasant, but it basically amounted to one rough night, and by the next day I was feeling better, so I didn’t think too much of it.

Saturday morning we loaded up the car and headed for St. Louis, about a 9 hour drive for us. Well, it turns out the stomach thing I had was, in fact, of the contagious variety. I’ll spare you all the details, but let it suffice to say that both kids became ill during the drive, and it was not fun. 😳

We obviously didn’t want to get anyone else sick, so rather than heading to my brother’s place, we booked a hotel for the night, and ended up staying two nights until all of our symptoms had subsided (my wife came down with the same thing the first night at the hotel, as well, so it managed to get us all).

Thankfully, our 36-hour quarantine (along with diligent handwashing and surface-sanitizing the rest of the week) seemed to have worked, and no one else got sick. We had a nice Christmas, pretty low-key for the most part. Here are a few pics from the week.

Glad your saga ended with everyone's health returning Barrett. In spite of it all, good too see your family got to partake in some of the festivities.

Gary, I would assume that they are glued on.

That HHB is a stunner 😍

Glad it turned okay brother, hope Santa was kind to the Kids😁
We still haven't been able to visit my mum yet.

Morning Guardians! Cloudy and cool with a North breeze. Enjoying everyone's Lambs this morning 👍🤠

Stay warm David, and enjoy your Guardians Lamb :)
They may not have been exactly what you asked for but they’re still beautiful knives. I’m kicking myself I didn’t get to the forum earlier when your SFO’s were still going. Especially those HHB’s! 😍
Thanks Jack, sorry you missed out mate :(
Nice shot buddy :)
Yup, it rained all day:D. I got a machine screw at Lowe's to cobble together my failed revolver grips, and groceries at Meijer's, which was a little expensive because I bought the ingredients for non-alcoholic mulled wine by Nicolette of Home-cooked roots.
I ran the dishwasher and a load of laundry, and put away the big Christmas stuff. I always take down the Christmas stuff on New Years, but I feel I'll want my decks cleared of sentiment sooner than that this time.

I didn't get to the exercising. I'll do that tomorrow.
Sounds like you've had exercise enough Jer
Stunning pic Steve  :)

Very sorry to hear about your misadventures Barrett, but I'm glad you were able to make it to your brother's for Christmas buddy :) Great set of pics
Flash,
Gotta say it holds a good edge, haven't touched it up yet
Interesting pic Mitch
Evening all
There's always time for coffee! :D

Good morning Guardians, I'm struggling to recall what day it is! :D My wifi is running slower than Tool Man going to the bar, been like that about 3 days, which is very annoying. Hoping it'll pick up again at some point  I'm not sure what I'm doing today, but a shave is definitely on the agenda! :D Carrying my Charlie Lamb :) Have a good day Guardians

Great jigging on your Charlie Lamb ! Hopefully your Wi-Fi will get sorted out soon 👍

Looking good Jer !

Many thanks buddy, Charlie has strong-armed some great jigging out of GEC over the years, and I think this is some of the best 😊 My WiFi was bad a month or so back, then suddenly it was right as rain again. The issue in that case was a severed cable. I do wish it was more consistent though 👍

A beauty of a lamb Jack. I believe I need to bring some Asian meals into my life.
They are ever so tasty, as well as, healthy.

Thank you my friend, I think you should definitely give them a try. Variety is the spice of life, as they say 😉👍

Enjoy the last days of this year everyone.

You too Bob, that's a great-looking Lamb that Van Helsing would be proud of! 😊👍
