Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Sweet πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

Looking good Jack πŸ‘

Cool pic Mitch 😎 I haven't heard that in ages 😁 I always associate that phrase with football, as there was always a feller carrying a sign at Sheffield Wednesday's Hillsborough ground - as if going to see them wasn't depressing enough! πŸ˜±πŸ€£πŸ‘

Wishing you all the very best Leon πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
πŸ˜€ I still like this version of War of the world.

Evening all
Hope everyone has a nice new year.
I always have a quiet 1, Buddy doesn't like fireworks.
A couple quiet beverages, home made pizza & we plan on watching gladiator ii

I prefer Richard Burton's melefluous voice to the music :D

Sounds like a great plan Mitch, hope you have a fantastic New Year's Eve, and a Happy New Year of course :)

Good morning Guardians, 9.30am here, and my plans are to tidy up a bit, cut up some cardboard, have an easy day (hopefully), and meet Matt for a couple of pints early evening, before spending a quiet one at home. I've been in bed before midnight the past 2 or 3 years, but then get awoken by fireworks. Carrying L'Ariete to see in the New Year :) Have fun Guardians, and here's wishing everyone a very Happy New Year. Hoping for a peaceful 2025

I took a new set of pics last night, but seem to have forgotten the macro button again, so here is the last of the old batch.

Winter is coming back tonight and tomorrow after a transitional today. I'll make Nicolette's faux mulled wine after work and be reflective.
Maybe tomorrow I'll admit that my fore-top wisps no longer constitute hair, and widen my shaving swath.

Take care Jer, and enjoy your faux mulled wine :) I got a bit of a shock when I saw Duncan's recent photo of my own thinning barnet! I might have made a mistake going back to a crop! :D

Thanks buddy !

Happy new year, Guardians. I hope 2025 is better than expected.
I'm planning to stay off the roads tonight. Might step outside to watch if the neighbors are shooting fireworks.

Cute picture !

Yup, it rained all day:D. I got a machine screw at Lowe's to cobble together my failed revolver grips, and groceries at Meijer's, which was a little expensive because I bought the ingredients for non-alcoholic mulled wine by Nicolette of Home-cooked roots.
I ran the dishwasher and a load of laundry, and put away the big Christmas stuff. I always take down the Christmas stuff on New Years, but I feel I'll want my decks cleared of sentiment sooner than that this time.

I didn't get to the exercising. I'll do that tomorrow.
Sounds like a very productive day, and looks like a very satisfying knife!:thumbsup::cool:

Thankfully, our 36-hour quarantine (along with diligent handwashing and surface-sanitizing the rest of the week) seemed to have worked, and no one else got sick. We had a nice Christmas, pretty low-key for the most part. Here are a few pics from the week.
Thanks for the informative Christmas story and photos, Barrett! o_O:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Your family's pre-Christmas symptoms suggest norovirus. We've had a couple of recent stories on the local TV news about a large outbreak in Michigan, and I think my daughter and son-in-law, who both work for MN Health Dept., mentioned the same for Minnesota.

Gary, I would assume that they are glued on.

That HHB is a stunner 😍
Thanks, Steve. :)
Your shadow pattern lamb with no pins, great grain, and long pull is very distinctive!:cool::thumbsup:

Flash,
Gotta say it holds a good edge, haven't touched it up yet
Flash is certainly a handsome knife, Mitch!:cool::thumbsup:
May I request a photo of Flash in a pan?? Then maybe Hatchet_Jack Hatchet_Jack can explain the origin of the phrase "flash in the pan" (if I'm correctly remembering some of his hunting preferences). πŸ€“

Nice to see your Hartshead Barlow :)
Thanks, Jack. :) It's probably my most-carried lambsfoot, since I often carry it as a "bonus lambsfoot" even when it's not its turn to be my Lambsfoot of the Week.:cool::cool:

...
Carrying my Charlie Lamb :) Have a good day Guardians

Sublime knife, Jack! :cool::thumbsup:😲

Enjoy the last days of this year everyone.

Marvelous knife, Bob! 😲:thumbsup::cool:
(It reminds me that I have a coughin' fit whenever I think about my eventual coffin fit. ;))

During the last week of the year, I see many retrospectives in various media about aspects of the past year. I'm just trying to remember the lambsfoot knives I've carried in this last MONTH. My lambsfoot carry for Dec. 8-14 was Man Jack, my stag senator I won in a BF GAW once upon a time (thanks, Richard). IIRC, it's my first lambsfoot, from September 2015.

IMG_4514.jpegHappy almost new year from Dallas, Guardians! It’s a glorious sunny day in north Texas, so I took a few shots of my very first new lambsfoot purchase. A beautiful purple Box Elder from Daniels that I couldn’t resist. My favorite color and my new favorite blade thanks to you wonderful people in this crew.

New Year's Eve brunch in Coconut Grove's Peacock Park.

Roasted Beet Dip and Peppered Tuna Watercress Salad. The Stagnator: The Second Term wasn't needed but insisted on taking advantage of the situation for a photo op. πŸ™„
