Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Happy new year, Guardians. I hope 2025 is better than expected.
I'm planning to stay off the roads tonight. Might step outside to watch if the neighbors are shooting fireworks.

Jack Black Jack Black I promised you a few photos of the lambsfoot with my new espresso maker. A Christmas gift I received from my fair lady. Remarkably decent coffee even for a novice.I suspect I will be working on the grind and my shot technique for a few weeks. But now I have a new lamb to keep me company while if it warming up in the morning!

Good evening Guardians, I was trying to post from my local pub - The Three Hulats - 3 or 4 hours ago, but that whole area is an internet black-hole 🤨 I've no idea why they don't sort it out

Happy New Year's r8shell . . . . "And the lions shall lie down with the lamb."

And that one Steve, it's about as Lamby as a Lambsfoot could be  Wonderfully captured there too ❤️
Thanks, Jack. :) It's probably my most-carried lambsfoot, since I often carry it as a "bonus lambsfoot" even when it's not its turn to be my Lambsfoot of the Week.:cool::cool:

Sublime knife, Jack! :cool::thumbsup:😲
That's pretty cool Gary, thanks pal :)
Marvelous knife, Bob! 😲:thumbsup::cool:
(It reminds me that I have a coughin' fit whenever I think about my eventual coffin fit. ;))

During the last week of the year, I see many retrospectives in various media about aspects of the past year. I'm just trying to remember the lambsfoot knives I've carried in this last MONTH. My lambsfoot carry for Dec. 8-14 was Man Jack, my stag senator I won in a BF GAW once upon a time (thanks, Richard). IIRC, it's my first lambsfoot, from September 2015.

:)
Howdy Guardians! Hope y'all are having a good day. Enjoy seeing your Lambs.

View attachment 2747989Happy almost new year from Dallas, Guardians! It’s a glorious sunny day in north Texas, so I took a few shots of my very first new lambsfoot purchase. A beautiful purple Box Elder from Daniels that I couldn’t resist. My favorite color and my new favorite blade thanks to you wonderful people in this crew.
I've liked the look of all their Lambs  Congratulations Dave :)

I love that jigging Bob  Though, I think that, as with my old Abram Brooksbank, it's days as a Lamb are over

Great pic Will! :D

I ended up having 5 pints at the pub with Matt, and a very mediocre pizza! :D He has gone to attend some New Year's Eve soiree, which sounded dire! :D I, on the other hand, have beer in the fridge, and plenty of DVDs to watch ;) Have a lovely New Year's Eve Guardians, and I hope that the, eerily sci-fi sounding, 2025, is kind to all of us ;) Happy New Year Guardians

Le Ram is looking good Jack. Sometimes a day without drama is good.
The Brooksbank must have been a sweet one when new. Mine has become a letter opener.

Have a nice evening Jack, It's going to be a quiet one for me as well 👍

Thanks buddy, I gave it a bit of TLC this afternoon :) As with my Hartshead Barlow, it is a struggle not to pocket every day :) Thank you my friend, I hope I come across a Brooksbank Lamb, in more Lamby shape, at some point :) I'll try to get a letter off to you soon ;)

Kitties look content. Nice 🐑 👍🤠
They are content when their bellies are full. Tango has figured out that food comes from the refrigerator, and tries to jump in when I open the door. 😏
My home internet connection is still on its backside! 😖

I've been thinking of that song!

Sounds like a very productive day, and looks like a very satisfying knife!:thumbsup::cool:

Thanks for the informative Christmas story and photos, Barrett! o_O:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Your family's pre-Christmas symptoms suggest norovirus. We've had a couple of recent stories on the local TV news about a large outbreak in Michigan, and I think my daughter and son-in-law, who both work for MN Health Dept., mentioned the same for Minnesota.

Thanks, Steve. :)
Your shadow pattern lamb with no pins, great grain, and long pull is very distinctive!:cool::thumbsup:

Flash is certainly a handsome knife, Mitch!:cool::thumbsup:
May I request a photo of Flash in a pan?? Then maybe Hatchet_Jack Hatchet_Jack can explain the origin of the phrase "flash in the pan" (if I'm correctly remembering some of his hunting preferences). 🤓

Thanks, Jack. :) It's probably my most-carried lambsfoot, since I often carry it as a "bonus lambsfoot" even when it's not its turn to be my Lambsfoot of the Week.:cool::cool:

Flash in the pan, keep your powder dry, going off half cocked - so many good flintlock idioms.

Thanks Steve. I'm hoping for a quiet one too.
Happy New Year!

Very cool!

Well it was a quiet night for us. Thought it must have been a busy night for the rescue chopper, we are under it's flight plan to the hospital.
Kristy had a look online this morning. No it was a party next suburb over. The police had even called in Police chopper.

Must have been a pretty good party 🥴
