I thought this might bring back some memories for our younger members. Not me, I dropped out after Pong!

Strange year indeed Mike . You get snow in Mo. and we live in Southern Wi. and we got none . My wife and I spent Christmas alone due to both having Covid . We normally would have had 20 plus here . She still has the coughing , but not nearly as bad as you do . Get well my friend and stay safe down there . Oh yes , Beautiful knife .

Jeremy slipped me a slip for my CDB!! #10!!

I know news has been leaking out - but the latest is, final production steps have been commencing on a new Waynorth Lambfoot!! I will eventually start a separate thread, but for now I thought I should make an announcement here at the knife's spiritual home!!
The handles will be of "Flat-Cap Jigged Bone", a tribute to the once ubiquitous jigging seen on many Sheffield knives from the early 1900s!! Contact your favorite dealers, if you are interested; I am notifying them all tomorrow!!
A beauty right there
Yummy and a greatI hope the day got better Jer, my days sometimes start like thatI haven't poured milk in the electric toaster yet, thankfully!

Brilliant Jeremy, how's it going?![]()
Thanks buddy, I think that was taken on the island of Fuerteventura![]()
I had to call in at the library, and then had a coffee at Charlie's, before catching one of the new fancy all-electric buses (£500,000 apiece, and the poshest in the country I'm told), up the hill to affluent Chapel Allerton.

When I got off the bus, I was surprised to find that the pavements in the commercial heart of the area were covered in a thick layer of frozen snow and ice, far worse than on my side-street. The worst conditions were outside the most expensive cafes and restaurants, where I was about to spend £20 on breakfast. Food was excellent, but you'd think the local burghers could club together for some salt for the pavements

Picking my way slowly back down the hill, I called in that library there, to wish an old friend Happy New Year, then onto the post office, which was actually my reason for going out

Indeed it doesSlight correction: the Lambsfoot is, in fact, mentioned in LG-IV, if only briefly. I had skimmed the sections with Sheffield knife info, and those with blade shape charts and various pattern descriptions, as well as the Glossary and Index of Cutlery Terms in the appendix, where, of course, I had been looking under L. It’s actually found under S, paired with the entry for Sheepsfoot:
SHEEPFOOT or LAMBFOOT BLADE. A short blade with a straight cutting edge, 35-36. The lambfoot blade tapers.
The Lambsfoot deserves better!![]()
Thanks buddyThanks David.

Such a great find, Steve!
That’s very exciting news, Charlie! Guaranteed to be a classic!
Rosewood HHB for me again today. I just recently picked up the copy of Levine’s Guide (4th Edition) in the background of this pic, something I’d been looking for (somewhat passively) for a while. I’m sure it’s a great reference tool that will live up to its reputation, it does leave a bit to be desired when it comes to Lambsfoot info — as far as I can tell, it isn’t mentioned at all!

Thanks Jack. That's good to hear my friend, fabulous Lambsfoot there![]()

Thanks Bob!Good to hear Jeremy, sweet lamb.
Thanks Barrett, indeed it is a new stamp, just got it a month ago.Reminds me of going to Pizza Hut as a kid. I think they had Street Fighter, but the one I remember playing there most was The Simpsons arcade game.
Sorry to hear that you had Covid and had to miss Christmas with your family, Harry.I hope your wife’s cough gets better soon.
Very nice, Charlie!
sbh06 Jeremy, is that a new stamp? Looks good!

stirring up the porch.
Good Friday Guardians. Exciting news about a new Waynorth. The jigging sounds good. Harry Hotballs coming to fisticuffs and Tool Man larking about…what’s next? I don’t know…

Thanks Steve, the ebony Charlie lamb is!
Several inches of new snow last night. I haven't been off the property since last Friday. We cancelled pool for today. Old guys don't need to be out in this
If I had to go somewhere, I could get out. The truck is a 4x4 and its pointed out, so no problem. The biggest hassle would be cleaning the accumulated ice/sleet/snow off.
My A. Wright has been totally neglected since receiving my GL-24. Decent walk, although not as silky as the Albers, solid snap and a pull that's a 6 or 7. I have one other Wright. A very handsome two blade jack with file work and horn handles. It won't ever be carried because the pull is a solid "10" and I don't like to fight to open my knives. This one is a good, solid knife
The cough drop supply is holding out so far
