Thanks PeteGreat lineup Dan!
You can always poke a finger of the eye of the authorities and get an actual sling, not a slingshot.
Much better and less dangerous.

It was to be a vacation, but it turns out that if you want to fly to Girona, (or many other places in Europe), before April, there are no direct flights, and you have to, typically, go via the Canary Islands!Work or vacation?
And that's another destination of yours I had to google.

LOL!So if it was a no dog or cat in your house.
This is how it would go dear reader.
Mrs Black "no cats or dogs in this house!" Begrudgingly Jack agrees. Jack thinks what would be an ideal pet. Hmmm?
Well readers
Jack returns home with a glass tank covered with a shroud stating "Mrs Black, I have the perfect pet" and pulls away the shroud with a flourish!
What is it dear reader, fish, lizard, perhaps a tortoise. No it's a king cobra!
Jack says "it's perfect you don't have to walk it, feeding costs are low and you never have to pet it. Who needs a Rottweiler, let this bad boy out of a night perfect home security, just mind where you put your feet in the morning."
True story![]()
Great pic
LOL!Thanks Jack. Your HHB looks swell, also when did grenades start coming with lasers?![]()
Cool picPlease excuse my absence, Guardians - I've been taken with some other, lesser patterns. I've finally caught up with the thread and the many awesome lambs posted recently!
I'm trying to get back to taking pictures with a camera camera, rather than a phone camera. Difficult adjustment. Lots of clunky transferring that I've become unaccustomed to. I haven't touched an honest-to-god camera in years. Sometimes I think there's something wrong with the lens - at other times, my eye... and then my mind.
Maybe I'm just used to looking at the pictures coming out of my phone with whatever image processing it does on its own and now, camera camera pictures look weird? It could be.
This picture might be bad. I don't think I can tell anymore.

Looks delicious PeteThanks Jack! There is really nothing more fun than a .22
Had a nice lunch with my Facilities team today in Seguin, TX. The brisket was good, the “brisket boudin” stole the show.

They want to steal all our fun! Those are highly illegal around these parts, along with sword canes. Pity too, I would love a blackjack.
Another cool picSome lambs.

I had an idea to make one that fired paint balls - didn't work out! That is actually something I’ve always wanted for myself. Very cool![]()

Or Torquay! The English Riviera in March? It was to be a vacation, but it turns out that if you want to fly to Girona, (or many other places in Europe), before April, there are no direct flights, and you have to, typically, go via the Canary Islands!I never realised flying was so darn SEASONAL!
I checked out a range of other options last night - Riga, Gdansk, Marrakesh, Prague, but I'm beginning to wonder if we wouldn't just be better going to Edinburgh or something
I picked up 1200 Euros yesterday too!

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is well, and made it through another weekTool Man rang me last night, and he is going in early for his hip operation, so no market for the next 6 or 7 weeks. I'm not sure how he'll go on after that, because those tool boxes are heavy, it might be a good time to retire
I am expecting some work to come in today, but it might not be until this evening, worse luck
Thought I'd carry L'Ariete today
I hope you have a good one Guardians

Rail fares are dearer than the flights!Or Torquay! The English Riviera in March?
I don't think we're living in the golden age of flight.
Very useful for that purpose JerNice collection!
We can still get something similar for holding our books open.

Silly thing to chime in on. Just getting back from vacation and preparing to shovel.Yeah, I used to know one or two people who wouldn't let their kids have toy guns. I came up with the perfect solution!

Makes absolute sense when there are real guns aroundSilly thing to chime in on. Just getting back from vacation and preparing to shovel.
I hunted with my grandfather starting at 13 but would go shooting at his range around 9 or 10. My brother and I were allowed to have toy guns, cap guns, water guns, nerf guns, etc growing up. But, if I was ever caught shooting or even pointing a toy gun at my brother or any other person the toy was taken away for the dayProbably a little too strict, but no gun was a toy in our house. Anything that looked like a gun was to be taken seriously.
Looks like you've been splashing out Dave!View attachment 2762588Happy Friday, Guardians! Welcoming new pair of lambs from my holiday binge!
