A previously posted picture that deserves at least two.

Excellent duo there!

Good morning Guardians !
It's turned cold here again, -1° this morning. Going to the funeral of my brothers mother in law later this morning. She was a neat lady and we shared a birthday. She will be missed but at 92 she lived a good life.

Sorry for your loss, Steve.
Built under Elizabeth Regina R.I.P.! Carried under, and by, a Charlie!!View attachment 2759900
Great pic, Charlie! They should put you on a coin, instead of that other Charlie with the big ears.

Thanks BobIt was a good trip
The only disappointing thing was seeing that a famous old York pub, which Peregrin visited with his son, and where me and Duncan had lunch, has been re-branded . It is now a "party bar" and live music venue, with a mock "Irish" theme, run by an irritating young man, with Dutch heritage

Shame about the pub, Jack. Sorry to hear it.

I took my nephew to the range for his first experience with a pistol recently. This .22 was the one.
With the upcoming CC lamb release, I’ve decided to carry this ebony example for the rest of the month. It’s such a good knife!

Very nice, Pete. I’ve always kind of wanted one of those Ruger MK IV .22s (though they may have still been on the MK III the last time I actually looked at buying one). For whatever reason I’ve never pulled the trigger (no pun intended).

A dangerous combination.

It's very sad Gary, even the fellers at Leeds market were moaning about it today

I need to buy a book on Catalan, as I am headed to Girona for a few days at the end of March
Good afternoon Guardians, I am just back from the market. Next week will be the last time Tool Man will be there for at least 6 weeks, as he is going into hospital for a long-awaited hip operation. Boring Ray's wife had made us a giant sausage roll, of which Tool Man immediately ate half.

Later, when Shirley, brought down some chocolate fingers, the fat lump handed them out like Captain Scott, rationing chocolate on Christmas Day, and shoved the rest down his fat neck by the handful! Before sending Gravel off to buy some bhajis

I hope everyone has a good day![]()

Sounds like Tool Man was trying to load up in case the hospital food is subpar.

I'm sure they will want Tool Man on his feet as soon as possible Bob - and out of the door!![]()

Surely he’s not a difficult patient…

I can own a gun in my state, but it would be illegal for me to own a slingshot. Go figure.
Interesting.
Thanks Jack. I too can buy a gun, but not a sling in my state. I have them sent to another state, then stepdaughter sends them here.
Hence I carry them illegally.
“Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.”

Crazy!A slingshot is classed as a toy here!
I can't own a gun anymore, nor pepper spray, or any number of other items, but a repeating crossbow is fine, and I can buy explosives, in the form of fireworks, most of the year

And make sure your knife blade is under 3 inches and doesn’t lock!

Blowguns are illegal there, too, aren’t they? With the exception of a couple states, I think they’re still legal here in the US, with no age restriction. I had one when I was a kid, it was a lot of fun!

Had a nice lunch with my Facilities team today in Seguin, TX. The brisket was good, the “brisket boudin” stole the show.

That looks delicious, Pete! And did you say brisket boudin??

If you really want to be a scofflaw, go get yourself a blowgun.

Brilliant!They are great fun
Unfortunately, for some bizarre reason, they banned them here when I was in my late teens

Guess I should’ve read further in the thread.

I guess every country/state has some weird legal contradictions, when I was in Poland, you could carry just about anything, including a sword of up to 3 feet in length, but baseball bats needed a license, and had to be carried between games in a locked case!![]()
Now that’s funny.

Any relation to Pablo?

Old pic, but I’ve got my stag HHB with me today.
