Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thank you Jack. Just what they need down there, another yankee!
Looking dapper good sir.👍🏻
Yes, a spalted pecan, that just arrived.
Thanks Bob, could have done with a shave! The amenities at the Tan Hill Inn weren't up to much

(That sign is actually from somewhere else, but I thought it was pretty funny :D)
We're expecting showers instead of storms for a while.
[That pic had my last name on it!]

Looking good Jack !

Looks relaxing Paul :)
Spoke too soon! 🤣 👍

On Saturday morning, we eventually got Wolfie off the phone, had a very poor breakfast at our hotel, got him a hat for less than £2, and set off to drive right across the country, to Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast. I had hoped to detour slightly to Richmond, but Matt was tiring of driving, and it was a long way anyway, so we drove straight to the coast.

We parked up, and went to get a sausage sandwich and a coffee each 😋 I called in a couple of antique shops, and chatted about knives to a couple of guys, buying a few on the way. No Lambs though sadly :( We walked down the hill, onto the front, and along to the pier, buying an ice-cream on the way :)

More great pics jack. I had to look up the ruins on top of the hill. Quite interesting history 👍

Thank you my friend, I was at the hospital yesterday, and the wound is healing quite well. My next appointment is in 6 weeks time. I have been able to wear my tweed cap again, but it's now a bit warm for tweed! I was certainly glad of it on my road trip though! 😁👍

I hope it goes OK my friend, and that you enjoy seeing Georgia and your granddaughter 😊 Is that a new Cosimo, I can't keep up with you I'm afraid?! 😁👍
Glad you can wear a hat again, Jack!! Tweed is the quintessential material for a Flat Cap!!!

Happy Friday Guardians !

OG Charlie Lamb today 👍

Thanks Steve, I used to camp on those cliffs years ago :) The place I used to camp is in the sea now!
Most fidgeted with and most carried.

Thanks Charlie, I'm sorry I still haven't put yours in the mail

After our Saturday afternoon walk, we went to find the cottage I had rented. I knew where it was, and it turned out to be beautiful, with 3 bedrooms, a couple of bathrooms, and a lovely kitchen :)

We even got the loan of a teddy each! :D We had a cup of tea, and relaxed for a bit, then got ready to go out for food, at which point Wolfie disappeared again  I'd always wanted to eat at a well-reputed pie shop in Whitby, but it was always full :( This time we were lucky, and it turned out to be a great treat, and the service was fantastic, as well as the food :) Henderson's Relish on the table of course ;)

Wolfie had started behaving weirdly, and when we went to the Black Horse, my favourite pub, he announced he would just be drinking soda water 😣 Me and Matt had a few pints, and soaked up the atmosphere of this wonderful pub :) We then decided to head back across the River Esk, and back up the hill, where our accommodation was located. There are some good pubs and bars nearby, and we called in a couple of them. Wolfie stuck to his soda water, and went to bed when we got in, while me and Matt stayed up drinking Islay whisky, and watch vintage Top of The Pops! :D

Delightful :)

Cool pic Mitch :)

I sure hope she is OK Mitch :( I can remember being in a similar pickle when I was in my late teens, and it was very frustrating (I couldn't go out). I hope Lorna is able to manage OK

Sorry to hear Lorna's troubles continue Mitch. May she heal fast and make a full recovery.👍🏻

Nice pic and best wishes to Lorna for a good recovery !

Thanks mate !

Great pic of your FC Lamb !

Good luck painting buddy !

Looking good Jack !

Can't be too careful these days !
Thanks gents. As I've said before lorna is on the spectrum, likes routine and alone time loves adult colouring books and spend hours doing them and won't be able to while healing. We can see a bit of frustration in the future 😃
I don't think I said Lorna got her drivers licence last month first go. Left it to the last minute literally. The test was her last day of learners permit, if failed would have had to apply for learners permit again😫
