Stay safe Steve, that's a stunning pic  What a great knife :)

Thanks Jack, it blew through fairly quickly with no damage. 👍

I once suggested 'Ragan Bone' to Charlie :D

I remember the Rag and bone man coming around when I was a boy. 👍

Good morning Guardians, I hope your week is off to a flying start :) I woke up with a stiff neck, after falling asleep on an extra pillow  It's cooler today, and it's been raining. I have a few more errands to run later, but hopefully it'll be another easy day :) Have a good one Guardians :thumbsup:View attachment 2891326

Pals Lamb is a looker !

Blonde beauty !

Hope you're all having a good day Guardians. Both my wifi and phone signal were bad again this morning, but when I called in the docs to order my prescription, the receptionist there told me they had the same problem. The last time this happened, it was due to some guys cutting through a cable, so maybe this is something similar. I did notice that they're digging up the road nearby, but that's a constant thing here in England  After leaving the docs I walked down to Charlie's cafe, and had coffee and a croissant, before going into town 😋

I took care of a few errands in town, did a little shopping, and then, since it had started raining, I decided to have lunch in the market 😉

Remember the Maypole festival I went to recently? I came across this old footage online, of how they did it in 1969

I imagine every man there had a pocket knife on him, and most of them would have been Lambsfoot knives

Just having a cup of tea and a piece of Bakewell tart 😋

That's a very nice IXL Steve  That's quite a change in weather my friend. We've gone from @70 to high 50's, I think, with rain too. I hope things brighten up for both of us! :D

Thanks buddy ! The air is really bad here today from the fires.

Nice pic Jack !

Ahoy, Guardians.

Raining for two days straight so far. The carnivorous pitcher plants, natives of Borneo, like it so I guess that's not nothing.

Here's Tilly playing in dangerous waters - that pitcher is almost big enough to swallow her! In this top-down view, you can see that this plant has already done rustled itself up some grub. Ants. Yum-bo! 😋

Does it always have a coyote on top?
So many ways that climber could have hurt himself!
Not an entirely non-dangerous enterprise, the raising of it.
I like the guy pausing for a beer with his head under the propped-up tree.
And I like that they hoist it right next to the standing cross.

Brian today..

went to the doctor's yesterday. while I was there she asked you want the flu shot? i laughed and asked what are you gong to give it? She laughed and said I'm a trained professional you know. I can't remember the last time a doctor administered an injection. So I'm feeling a bit poorly today, did get my walk in though very cold with wind chill factor, needed my hood.
