But how bad could things be if I have Roper in my pocket after carrying Beni at work today. I'm blessed!

Blimey, I thought Labour Day was supposed to be a celebration, rather than a day of activity! No more than 8 hours Jer, or Albert Parson will haunt your dreams!

Well, working on Labor Day is just the sort of saintly heroism that I exemplify so habitually.
I labored only for the four hour shift, though. There was more lifting and toting than usual at work, so I really needed my nap. The only yard work I did was to locate my brush hook//bank/ ditch/ Kaiser/ sling/ blade.

Public holidays are for everyone except retail and hospitality industries.
Of course emergency services and medical services are needed and should be compensated appropriately. Everyone else should be free to attend services or spend time with family.
The shopping centres are even open on ANZAC DAY now

Seems the meaning of many holidays are being lost or not followed.

Yes Here, they gave us a Labour Day, in the form of Mayday, and then took it away again a couple of decades later. Whitsuntide is called something else now, and we have no Thanksgiving. Almost all our holidays are meaningless here today

Love the updates, Tyson. I hope you and Lacey and Whiskey have a restful Labor Day. I’m the only wine and whiskey drinker among the baptists this weekend so I’ll be finishing up a bottle of interesting wine mixed up with soda as a spritzer for my fishing beverage today

Being self-employed, they just kind of mess my week up! That's bad about ANZAC Day Mitch, but it is just the same here
