Thank you for getting us to Page 6000 Guardians!
The darned VPN is playing havoc with my ability to purchase a Lambsfoot for a giveaway
I can't compete with Barrett, but here's a hastily composed pic to mark this special occasion![]()

Wow Barrett, huge effortI guess I’m kind of predictable, huh?

I was looking at the picture after I took it and thinking, “What’s missing?” Then I realized it was missing anywaynorth Lambs, as they live in a GEC drawer rather than my Lambsfoot drawer, and also my Cosimo Lunar Lamb, which was in a pocket slip on top of my knife storage tool chest, rather than in the drawer where it belongs. Oh well, I couldn’t have gotten everything in there anyways.
What an outstanding collection Barrett.I guess I’m kind of predictable, huh?

Very nice pairing Jack.Happy coincidence that I'm carrying my Hartshead Barlow todayI like how it has aged, but also how the slip
JohnDF made for me has aged too
Sadly, it looks like John is no longer a member here, but I hope he's ageing nicely too, along with all our other absentee Guardians

Congratulations on 6000 pages, Jack!!!Thank you for getting us to Page 6000 Guardians!![]()
That's a good amount of snow from a few years ago! We should be getting pounded here in my area with lake effect snow over the holiday. Some forecasters say up to 24 inches by Wed of next week. We shall see.Nice !

I've seen the first, very good 80s style action movie. One of the things I like about 'Fargo', is the way the cold becomes part of the movieI do realise that much of it was filmed in North Dakota though

I'm afraid not Steve, I should have asked him today. Usually there's a lot of us there, with several people filming the fight, but this time we were a smaller group. Amos, Wolfie's eldest, usually records the fight on his phone. I started filming, but my phone cut out for some reason. So, as far as I know, only Idris, Wolfie's youngest filmed it. Wolfie sent me some clips, but they were very poor quality, I'm afraid. I'll try to remember to ask him if he's been able to track down anymore footage, in fact I think he has set up a YT channel, so I'll have a look there
Speaking of filming and movies, I'd completely forgotten I was going out to the cinema with Matt tonight, to see the sequel to a movie we saw a couple of years back!I'm just wondering whether I need to take my Spetsnaz shovel!

WARNING: Trailer contains spectacular cartoonish violence, and one curse word:
I can see that song making you laugh as a teenager.Definitely looks like they make some nice stuff. The brand of pocket notebooks I use most often (Word.) sell some nice looking leather covers, but again, it’d just add unnecessary bulk. I usually slip my notebook in a jacket pocket or (in warmer weather) my shirt pocket, so I don’t need them to be any thicker. And yet I’ve still considered buying one on more than one occasion.
Amazing how time flies. That doesn’t feel that long ago, but it was summer 2017. Now Sybil’s only a couple years from being a teenager, and of course Eleanor’s not far behind her.
That phone box was located next to the Queen’s Gate into Kensington Gardens. In fact, I believe it’s the same one that can be seen in this photo from the Queen’s Gate Wikipedia page.

I hadn’t noticed that symbol on the stone before. As I wasn’t familiar with it, I had to do a bit of research.
Very nice. I think you picked that one up when you and I were in Sheffield together.
As a kid, I wasn’t exposed to much rock music, but around 12 or 13 I started listening to a lot of 70s and 80s rock. Needless to say, as a teenager, I thought that song in particular was hilarious.
Gonna be hard to ride your bike in that getup, Bob, like the kid in A Christmas Story trying to walk to school. “I can’t put my arms down!” “You can put your arms down when you get to school.”
Great pic!Love the shadow pattern!
I keep seeing ads for that one. I never saw the first one (don’t even remember hearing of it before I started seeing ads for the sequel). It looks pretty wild!
Big milestone for the Guardians thread coming up fast! I have a picture to mark the occasion it, but I’ll wait until we’re on the next page.![]()
Thanks Steve
