Good morning Guardians, and Happy Thanksgiving to our US members I'm going to take my time, and go down to the market later this morning. I can't see there being many there though, as the weather is quite miserable here at the moment. I reckon a few other traders will be joining the Perfume Fatties in calling it a day now that Winter is here. Sadly, there's no longer a living to be made there, and who wants to stand in the bitter cold all day, with a paltry few Pounds to show for it at the end of the day? Only Tool Man, and that's because he's daft! Have a great day Guardians

Been recently out of pocket due to some health issues but slowly getting back on my feet. Thanksgiving is a favorite holiday of mine along with the upcoming Christmas season. I grew up not decorating for Christmas until after Thanksgiving. However, it looks as if most people have their lights up and trees decorated.
I've been carrying my HHB for several weeks now - I had better give it some TLC and oil it.

It looks like I was mistaken about the Florence Flea Market having closed before I went there in 1976. So we still have Florence.

Good news on the feet!
We always decorated on December 18th and took it down on New Year's. Partly because that two weeks we all had off was the core festive season, and partly because Mom didn't want to be stuck doing it all by herself.

I hope everyone is having a great day I've got a whole bunch of deliveries today, one of which arrived before I went to the market - a bottle of Talisker, and a TEW Lambsfoot I picked up last night, for a giveaway Having got my delivery, I caught the bus into town, picked up a coffee, and walked the rest of the way to the market Extremely Violent Carpark Dave was just relating some incredible adventure he had, whereby due to some medication he had taken, he managed to drive to another town, with multiple flat tyres, and has no recollection of the entire incident! Gravel was also already there, and had bought us all a sausage roll Harry Hotballs also called by, but didn't have much to say today. I went over to see Nobber Al and Ex-Para Steve, and then to speak to Golden Gordon and Robert the Badge. Contrary to my prediction, the market was quite busy, and it is actually much warmer than it was yesterday. We had more coffee and cake, and the Teds told me about their trip to Scarborough last weekend, where they'd had a great time. Tool Man was having slow-steady trade, but didn't have anything on his stall I found interesting. I decided to take a couple of pics, but was struggling to find a suitable background. Ray suggested I put my Lambsfoot on the tray of the Betty Boop waitress figure he had on his stall. I thought this was a good idea, but on closer inspection, Betty and her tray, was covered in Selotape, like most of the stuff on Ray's stall! About 12.30pm, Gravel said he was heading off, and I walked to the bus station, to get my bus home. I'm just waiting for a couple more parcels, and then I'll go out to pick some others up from the newsagents up the road

Yes, and it's colder than I thought, with no sun forecast. I'll go out and scrape while there's still some residual heat in the ground. And dig up those walnut trees I see as walking sticks before the ground freezes.

And feng shui my back entrance. It's in a corner where there's no sun ever.

Good morning, Jack and to all the Guardians. Happy Thanksgiving from Mississippi. Coffee again with Charlie’s lamb. We shucked a few hundred local oysters yesterday with the neighbors as our prelude to the traditional feast today. Ate them raw on the half shell, smoked in the Green Egg and grilled with sriracha butter and lemon squeezes.
These guys are not quite the cast of characters as Tool Man and Co but they do bring entertaining good cheer.

Callie the pup is in heaven down here with me as we get to play in one of my favorite backyards in the world. I hope everyone has a wonderful day and enjoys a relaxing holiday weekend in the USA.

Morning all and happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates. It’s my favorite holiday because of the food, friends, and family. Unfortunately, my work requires that I check in throughout the day and work all weekend.

During free time, I’ll be visiting my brother in law and his family today as he’s cooking this year. He’s big into smoking meats so it should be a great meal.
