:eek: When I spent time in Belfast, they had an 'Ulster Fry', which along with all the other fried stuff, had 3 different types of deep-fried bread :D

(I don't remember seeing any tomatoes that didn't come out of a can, and those beans don't look like they've been in the frying pan. Maybe that is the healthy version! 🤣)

Good morning Guardians, how are folks doing? I had to go out to Wakefield again yesterday afternoon, and got stuck in heavy traffic, so got back home late, and feeling worn out (but then slept badly). My lower back has been hurting the past couple of days, but hopefully it's nothing serious. It isn't raining here today, which is always a bonus, and I'm hoping to meet up with Wolfie for a coffee at some point. I have L'Ariete back in my pocket :) Hope everyone has a great day :) :thumbsup:

39 degrees now, falling to 22 by 5:00. Frozen puddles may be slippery!

I'll be back from my doctor by 4. After a sweep through Harding's for comparatively inexpensive sushi day and senior discount day.
I'd forgotten they have a senior discount day, never mind what day it is, until a kindly cashier responded to my doddering last Wednesday.
Two days at once I can remember.

I do have a few for my bony butt, but am sealing granite counter and that is a ladle rest.
 
I'm surprised how long this cold snap is going on here, pretty unusual 🥶 Wolfie had to wait in for delivery of a new sofa - thoughtfully arranged for him by his charming wife - so we had to cancel coffee. I called in for one at Charlie's, where the coffee roaster is now operational. They're just waiting for beans coming from various countries. I'm looking forward to smelling the roast 🙂 In town, I got lunch at the West African stall, and then went to the bank, and did some shopping, before heading to the cafe in the bookshop for hot chocolate, and a piece of cake 😋
