That is some fine looking beef.

It was most excellent. This restaurant does a 24-hour salt-and-pepper cure on the prime beef, followed by an all-day slow roast and a high-heat finish for a maximum crust. The beef is rubbed with a 50/50 mix of beef tallow and butter for enhanced richness before service.

I traded for this sperm whale tooth on Saturday!! Old tooth; must have had the tip broken in its youth, but plenty to make some nice bark knife handles now!!! Just have to decide on a pattern??!!!

Black palm makes for some interesting knife handles. Both end cut and not end cut (can't remember what that would be called, senior moment). Bob, Rufus1949 has posted some stunning knives with black palm, and Buck has done some in their custom shop.

Very interesting, I know next to Black Palm, other than that it makes for some attractive covers
