Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is well, and that you all had a great weekend. I had a fairly good one, but then woke up this morning forgetting that I'd had a weekend at all, and struggling to remember what day it was! I have some emails to catch up with today, but have no other work scheduled for this week. That can easily change, and I have plenty of things I need to do anyway. Matt and his family made it back from Iceland, and it looked like they had a fantastic time. Hoping to catch up with them in the week, as I have a couple of birthday gifts for Rheia. Wolfie is fighting again on Saturday, but I'll hopefully see him before then. Wishing everyone a good week I'm going with the crowd

It snowed all day yesterday, but not much stuck. I put down a bit of salt on a couple of spots in the driveway, but the front walk is fine for the school-goers.
Driveway aprons were the worst when I was walking to school or work.

A new arrival! Generous Bob has struck again! Many thanks Bob, that was very kind of you my friend It's an interesting material, and a good project





I thought of using a resin/coal material for covers, and even bought a few samples of existing products produced by a small collective of former Yorkshire miners (a few of you got 'fairy doors' as a result). They were a difficult bunch though, and I really didn't want to work with them (they didn't last long)

the Barrett makes a fine user.
Yep pretty much what a sausage sizzle is.
Take piece of white bread put sauce on sausage optional onion. Fold the bread over and you’re set just like a hot dog.
Often used for fundraising by sports teams or schools.

Good stuff, Mitch. I’ve heard of the sausage sizzles outside Bunnings (or, as my children would insist on calling it, Hammerbarn.)

Thanks, Jack. That was a holiday ale they still had on tap. Pretty tasty, a hint of orange and mulling spices, but not overwhelming.
