I had feared it would be pretty bulky at 20 mils instead of 2.5 mils. This will still be easier to secret in my bosom than a big kneeling pad, which was my other plan.
Nice pic David, it looks like you're getting some sunny weather where you are
Thanks buddy. It's cool out today. With the sun shining bright it's okay.Nice pic David, it looks like you're getting some sunny weather where you are![]()

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is OK. I have an online meeting this evening, but otherwise, I'm going to do as little as possible today!Pancake Day here today, but I had mine yesterday - I took Eve for lunch, cost me £40 for 6 pancakes with maple syrup, and 2 small coffees (they had run out of bacon!)!
Jent starts tomorrow, and this year I'm going to give up one of my favourite things - bread! So no more sourdough toast for breakfast until my birthday at the end of March. In fact, depending on the circumstances, I may try and dispense with breakfast all together. Otherwise, it'll be porridge or muesli. No rain today, so far, which is a win!
Have a good day Guardians, I'm going to stick with L'Ariete

Good morning, Guardians. Fun photo from a random Tuesday night in downtown Dallas; Walking a friend back to his hotel after dinner. We encountered a couple on horseback clopping down the sidewalk. Note the open carry.

Jack Black and @Chui and fellow Englishmen might appreciate the fine dry aged prime rib of beef we enjoyed at supper, complete with Yorkshire pudding and savory brown gravy like a proper Sunday roast:

I traded for this sperm whale tooth on Saturday!! Old tooth; must have had the tip broken in its youth, but plenty to make some nice bark knife handles now!!! Just have to decide on a pattern??!!!

Snow all melted after a few hours!! Back to our sunny ways!!!
Cosimo for today!!!
Thanks buddy. Malt Liquor - Colt 45 and Breaker - was briefly fashionable here when I was in my early teens. All canned beers were poor here then, but I remember them as being particularly insipidI never tasted 20/20, or any of the later 'alcopops', as they're known here, but I do remember Thunderbird

Hectic day off. All three of my kids are sick with the Norovirus. Have no idea what it is but it’s bad. Nothing too serious but let’s just say……clean up on aisle 3,4,and 5. I think Pepto Bismol stock just shot through the roof
.
HHB helped me stay in good spirits

My chicken stir fry turned out spicier than I'd intended when, after already adding a liberal amount of crispy chillis in oil, I mistook Secret Aardvark Habernero Hot Sauce for the Secret Aardvark Drunken Garlic Black Bean Sauce, and added multiple generous dashes of the former, rather than the latter!

Thanks Barrett,Always a pleasure for me to see the GL-24s.
Oof, bread would be a tough one for me (though probably a good idea).
Cool pic, Dave, but watch your step!
Looks delicious!
Cool knife. I’m guessing the handles are some sort of imitation stag, but they’re still nice looking.
Beautiful wood on that one, Bob.
Nah, it’s February, Santa’s off the clock when it comes to being jolly.
Now that’s a piece of fish!
That’s cool, Charlie, I'm sure you’ll come up with something great.
That’s my kind of snow!Beautiful Cosimo there.
I’ve heard Carlsberg Special Brew is a popular choice for drunks over there (not sure where I heard about it, some TV series, I’m sure).
If the headline begins with “Florida man…” you know it’s gonna be good.
Beautiful knife! Well done.
Oh man, that’s the worst. Did you at least manage to avoid it yourself?
Is that what y’all refer to as a “sausage sizzle”? Looks tasty!
That Aardvark will creep up on you!
We met up with some friends at a local brewery this afternoon for a couple beers. I had my Cosimo Lunar Lamb with me most of the weekend.

Thanks Steve, it beat working! Thanks pal , you too !
Great pic Mitch
Me too mate, probably the toughest I've done, and it's not been a week yet!Oof, bread would be a tough one for me (though probably a good idea).![]()
Yes, it was the first strong lager available here, and once the strongest beer available. Despite stiff competition from other 'tramp juice' brands, the first of which was probably 'Tennents Super', which originally came in a distinctive purple tin, 'Spesh' still remains a popular choice with jakeys and street-drinkers!I’ve heard Carlsberg Special Brew is a popular choice for drunks over there (not sure where I heard about it, some TV series, I’m sure).
It crept up pretty fast! That Aardvark will creep up on you!
Nice Barrett, what're you drinking there? We met up with some friends at a local brewery this afternoon for a couple beers. I had my Cosimo Lunar Lamb with me most of the weekend.
