Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

The other thing is that horn is very well-seasoned now. You didn't always know with Wright's πŸ™„ I'm sure Cosimo will take more care πŸ™‚ Guardian Dave @Horsewright uses a lot of horn, and we've all seen his work, but GEC didn't want to touch it πŸ‘

Sounds delicious Bob πŸ˜‹ I have 'Go Faster Stripes' on some of my hiking Lambs, from where I've wiped them quickly on my bandana! πŸ˜–πŸ˜πŸ‘
Thanks for the added info Jack.
Senior moment, I have a horsewright horn fixed blade with not shrinkage or warping.πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

Good morning Guardians, Friday already! :D I need to get some printing done, and pick up a few things from town, but I am in no hurry ;) Kind of overcast outside at the moment, but hopefully the sun will break through as the morning progresses. I've not had L'Ariete in my pocket this week, so putting that right today :) Have a good day Guardians

Thanks pal πŸ™‚πŸ‘

Matt has just invited me to the pub for tea. I have work tomorrow, so need to ensure I imbibe moderately πŸ‘ Unfortunately, the weather has changed, and it's now chucking it down outside πŸ˜–

I have been curious about AEB-L. After looking at the specs, and some feedback on knife groups, I was wondering why it is not more popular than it seems. Not that it is unpopular by any means, but from the specs and characteristics I'd have thought it would be more popular (unless I am mistaken about how popular it actually is, which is entirely possible).....So I made a little Lambsfoot to test the steel for myself. It is based on an old, circa 1970's Joseph Rodgers 3.5" knife that I inherited from my late grandpa. Just a simple, no frills little working knife I wanted to share with you guys. Blade stock is just a tad over 1/10th " so I put a hollow grind on it to get a nice thin cutting edge.
Feel free to tell me what you think, and also about AEB-L if you have any experience with it.

Great lookin lamb, Willem. I think AEB-L is great stuff. If someone is looking for stainless I don’t know you can do much better in a traditional.
