They've not gotten any cheaper! 😂 My main issue with umbrellas is not them getting damaged, but losing them! 😣 :) :thumbsup:

Good morning Guardians, it's a long time since I worked anywhere that the working week really had an end, but the concept hasn't left me, and I still see it as something I've managed to get through, rather than simply being another week older :rolleyes: I hope you've had a good one, and there you're looking forward to the weekend :) Here, it's a 3 day Bank Holiday weekend, I'm not sure why, but the pubs will be full in town tonight ;) Matt has been having some work done on the front of his house, and since there's scaffolding up, has decided to paint it, but we're going for a hike and some slingshot practice on Sunday. I might hear from Wolfie today, but I imagine his weekend is spoken for :rolleyes: High temperatures are promised for the weekend, and if things run the way they usually do, there's going to be a lot of wet barbecues :eek: Today, I'm heading into town to buy some provisions, which I really should start getting delivered, and have some lunch I reckon ;) Hope you have a great day Guardians :) I'm hoping the spirit of Waboom will put a spring in my step! :D ;) :thumbsup:

Thanks pal, I was talking about you earlier, (in relation to flight times and jet-lag), to an Australian visitor who randomly wandered into Charlie's cafe 🙂👍
 
That common buckthorn grows like the Man-Eater of Surrey Green, and it's just been declared an officially invasive species by the State of Michigan. I'm just going to clear it out and carefully poison the roots. If there are sticks straight enough to make a cane or a staff I'll save them, and I'll save the big trunks for knife handles or baseball bats,

Happy Friday, Guardians! I am glad to be home with my happily snoring dogs. I will be lollygagging in a huge way this weekend, since my fair lady is out of town visiting her mother for Memorial Day holiday week. My only plan is carrying this new ram lamb, and occasional walks to the creek for fishing if the weather holds.IMG_5656.jpeg
