& for Bob an Aloe that has decided it wants to ground cover it was only a couple of stems when I put it in.
Nice Mitch :)
Another day another dollar. Slow at the beginning of my shift so I enjoyed a nice pipe. Mammoth Charlie tonight.

Glad you got time to enjoy your smoke Paul, that mammoth looks good

Good morning Guardians, the weather was a bit crazy here yesterday, hot throughout, but at one point, there was a sudden, short-lived, but heavy downpour. Usually, it gets cooler after rain, but in this case, the temperature increased significantly. I was in a coffee shop during the shower, and when I walked out, it was like getting hit in the face with a Syrian sock! :D I met up with Wolfie late afternoon, and we had a few pints together, which was nice, and a rare event these days :) Sleeping was hard last night, and I was up at 4.30am. We're expecting another hot one today. I'm meeting up with a friend of mine this afternoon, Doug. I picked up some posters for him a few weeks back, and have had a 5ft cardboard tube standing in my hall ever since  I hope everyone is having a good week, and that your day goes well :) Carrying my FC Lamb today

Very nice Mitch.
I will have to give the aloe a try.
We've had so much rain, I hope the gardens don' t suffer.

At least the wildfires are 95% controlled now.
Good the fires are under control.
We have had rain all week and a few days of it yet.

s like getting hit in the face with a Syrian sock! :D

And yuck.
I had a marathon visit with my doctor yesterday. Annual Medicare Wellness check and a couple of issues. Nothing terrifying.

I applied for a Lowe's educational opportunity and got accepted. A BS in Supply Chain, Transportation, and Logistics, paid for by Lowe's, right down to the textbooks.
I'm expecting it to improve my evasion and escape skills.

I hope you find some relief soon, Jack.
Very nice flatcap.πŸ‘πŸ»

I believe the farmers are appreciating too.

Someone once told me that you're officially old when your various ailments become the main thing you talk about. I think I've hit that mark over the past couple of months. My bulging disc issue has been improving with physical therapy, but I got really ill on Sunday night and finally had Dawn take me to the emergency room at 4:00 AM Tuesday morning, and now I don't have a gallbladder anymore. Surgeon told me I'd be here for 2 or 3 days of recovery, and everyone here has been kind and competent and professional, but I'm hoping I get to go home today instead.

I'll have to recycle this old pic - no knife for me the last couple days.
