Someone once told me that you're officially old when your various ailments become the main thing you talk about. I think I've hit that mark over the past couple of months. My bulging disc issue has been improving with physical therapy, but I got really ill on Sunday night and finally had Dawn take me to the emergency room at 4:00 AM Tuesday morning, and now I don't have a gallbladder anymore. Surgeon told me I'd be here for 2 or 3 days of recovery, and everyone here has been kind and competent and professional, but I'm hoping I get to go home today instead.

I'll have to recycle this old pic - no knife for me the last couple days.

You are correct Tyson, health is a main issue later in life. Though, focusing on things we like and can do help.

Tyson I hope your recovery goes quickly. It’ll be good to be back home soon. Lacey must be wondering where you are. Well at least you weren’t on vacation somewhere having a drink and you woke up in a bathtub full of ice with a similar incision. I remember Ricky Gervais saying something like a good thing about aging is you’re less likely to get raped in prison. You can tell I’m all about positive thinking. Anyhow…

My cat is doing much better. The blood panel is better with the white blood cell count back to normal. Whew….thanks friends.

I had a marathon visit with my doctor yesterday. Annual Medicare Wellness check and a couple of issues. Nothing terrifying.

I applied for a Lowe's educational opportunity and got accepted. A BS in Supply Chain, Transportation, and Logistics, paid for by Lowe's, right down to the textbooks.
I'm expecting it to improve my evasion and escape skills.
