One of my poker playing buddies mentioned that he and his wife were planning to go to St. Louis (140 miles) to see it. Have a good time!Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is well, and that your week has got off to a good start. I'm off to Bradford this afternoon, as a couple of months back, I booked to see The Odyssey at the largest IMAX cinema in Northern England. I'm going to head over early, and get some lunch there firstHave a good day Guardians

That's a looker David
Thanks Steve, 150 years ago, Bradford was a very wealthy town, and it still shows in the architecture. Most of the tight-wad industrialists in Sheffield barely ploughed a penny back into the cityGreat pictures buddy !
The columns in the old wool exchange are amazing![]()
I'm going to have to do some research Bob, I know nothing about them apart from.'Jersey', which I guess could mean they wore matching sweaters! They would have lived north of me Jack. Many would come down from the north to visit the shore during the summer.Perhaps my wife knew them.
I did dance to the music when young.

I hope everyone has had a good day. I had been hoping to get pizza, not too much to ask I don't think, but was thwarted! I'd read good reviews of a small independent place, but they weren't open until 4pm, so I headed there after the movie. The waitress showed me to a table, and ten minutes later, took my order. I ordered a simple pizza, and a glass of incredibly overpriced wine (actually the pizza was overpriced too!). Another 10 minutes later, and the same waitress came back, and told me they didn't have any cheese! How could they not have any cheese for crying out loud, it was before 6.30pm, and there were only 4 other diners, none of whom were eating?! The waitress was friendly, but unhelpful, and so, ravenous as I was, I headed a few doors away to a pub, where I had what is almost certainly the worst chilli I've ever had!

I made my way to the train station, stopping to try and get a doughnut on the way, but the shop I called in was about to close, and had no stock. Back in Leeds, I almost ran to a bar, which used to do good pizza, only to find that they had closed down last week!I dare say Odysseus could relate, when he's stopped crying from having his story re-imagined!

Huh
Have we been transported to a post apocalypse future & I missed it?
Sack of rats, mushroom coffee,![]()
Yeah I figured, thereβs a chain that serves sliders here.We are just getting acclimated to a bleak future.
Mitch, the burgers are about 2 inches square and more onion than beef. Originally, four for a dollar. The name just sounded appropriate. There may have been liquor involved when the name first arose.

I'm in good company here in Arkansas. We Neanderthals thrive in the Ozarks. There are Neanderthals everywhere Jack.
Very cool and unusual Bob!I hope you good people up north get some relief from the wildfires.
