Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thank you sir. It's not B&W. I really do like that all metal rig you have there. It brings to mind the Wolstenholm - "TYNE". Anyway it is lovely. edit - what is it's length closed?

:D law of averages :D
Thank you. The angled perspective makes the knife look bigger than it is. I ‘ll look it up and get the dimensions. Your beautiful image has that wonderful B&W quality.

Fodderwing Fodderwing Got it. Blade length is 2.52 inches and overall length is 6.102 inches. It has a very small footprint.

Thanks, Jack! Great grandfather x2 was John Vincent Mitchell, but coming from Cornwall, around Truro and Redruth area, but going back that far, it is interesting!

Yes, who knows Dennis, Sheffield was a small place, but when it started to grow, it grew fast, and people moved there from all over Europe

Awsome pairing this evening, Jack! Looks like you could float a large coin on that beer!:D:thumbsup:

Trying to clean up the "shop" today, what my wife calls a "garage "!:D:thumbsup:

Yeah that sounds good!

I think you'd have enjoyed it Taylor

Grats on the weight loss, amigo. Not an easy task. Well done
Sometimes I feel like I can look at a picture of a frosted cake and put on 5 lbs :)

Another ritual that you can look forward to as you get older is getting up in the middle of the night for a "pit stop" :(

Even though I was born and raised in California, I've always been intrigued with the mystic of the Lone Star State.
Probably comes from watching westerns at the picture show kiddee matinee on Saturdays :)
I guess, "My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys"

As a guy who used to do a lot of hunting and fishing (with the associated camping and hiking in) and therefore very "nature minded", I'm wondering - what's the reason for the outcry? Obviously, you weren't chopping down trees. Is the problem due to the gathering of down wood or the smoke or...?
If it's not too much of a problem, inquiring minds would like to know.
OG

Thanks buddy, been a while since I lost any :) I'm the same, I could eat anything I wanted until my mid 40's, now I only have to look at a doughnut and I'm putting on weight! I've already encountered the pit-stops ;) You sound like my granddad OG, folks said he read so many cowboy books, he walked bow-legged! :D ;) I don't know what it is with the campfires, there are people here who even screw their faces up at the sight of a stove, same with a knife in use, has them twitching for their mobile phones  I'd like to go cowboy on them! ;) :D

Great pics today, everyone.

I have a busy week coming up, so in anticipation I thought I would treat myself to a nip of the twilight wine of Scotland. Hope you all had a good weekend.View attachment 1084490
Elegant picture.

I don't know if it's wrong, but I'm right there with you. :D What really made me laugh is how bored and business-like the row of cats looked.
Probably the same way I look at the buffet.
