Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Today between visits from an insurance provider & an internet repairman, I got a few snapshots of my new 2019 Lambsfoot……. I'm still in awe..... Everything is mechanically fine..... I flushed out the innards with a light lubricant; touched up the edge and cycled the blade a few times...… It has a stout pull but I am able to cycle it OK even with my gnarled hands..... When I was a young buck torque wrenches weren't real plentiful..... So you described torque or tightness in Ugga-Duggas (grunts as you pulled on the wrench)…… One Ugga Dugga being just over snug and 4 Ugga-Duggas being eyeball popping tight...… So the lug nuts on your Chevrolet were tightened to 2-1/2 to 3 Ugga-Duggas… Anyway, I'd rate the pull on my 2019 Lambsfoot at about 3 to 3-1/2 Ugga-Duggas……… Or, in a more understood metric, about an 8 to 8-1/2 pull..….
Thank you again Jack Black for being the driving force and vision for this offering..... Your efforts will never be forgotten; I am truly appreciative for all20190307_121024 (2).jpg 20190307_121045 (2).jpg 20190307_121320 (2).jpg you have done...……..

It is almost Friday, Guardians. Which I will be welcoming with much enthusiasm.

Never seems to fail... Step out to enjoy a cigar and it starts to rain. I think a summer project this year will be building some sort of cover over my back porch.

"A family photo"……. I'm a knife newbie...… I came upon the BF site about a year ago during a search for something on the internet..….(I bet other old guys like me will remember when you used to use the "Thomas Register" to find things)...…. Anyway, I bought a knife around that time which started me down the proverbial rabbit hole...…… One very pleasant arm of the hobby is the Lambsfoot group & their thread dealing with that specific knife...…… Being an inquisitive cuss I acquired a Lambsfoot knife direct from Sheffield..... Then another...…..Then another..... And another...…… And now the 2019 Lambsfoot….. So I thought I'd post a family photo for Lambsfoot aficionados to enjoy...…... family 2.jpg

Good project. I have a covered back porch, so I can smoke out there. I'd probably smoke in my house too, but someone objects, for some reason. ;)
