Great pics today, guys. Y'all just keep getting better and better.
This one falls far below the bar that has been set, but me and Emmylou decided to have some pound cake and fruit with the coffee this morning.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Glad it's Friday, Guardians, looking forward to the weekend. So many great looking lamb foot knives and so many wonderful, creative photos. I love this thread. I tried another photo this morning...it didn't come out any better than yesterday's so I'll use this one.
Have a great day and enjoy your weekend.

I think it's very possible that Wright's barely notice the minor flaws on their standard knives. Some of the large Sheffield cutlery firms, (and many smaller ones), had a period of excellence, but for most of them, that was back before the war (in many cases before the FIRST World War). Then, for various reasons, they went into decline, and the quality of their knives suffered. Wright's were only established in 1947, when the great Sheffield cutlery houses were well in decline, and many smaller cutlery firms were closing for good. They never produced fine exhibition pieces, like Joseph Rodgers and George Wostenhom produced in their hey-day, nor did they include fancy knives in their range. They produced simple knives with one or two blades, clasp knives for the British Army, and working knives for farmers, gardeners, and factory workers. At this time, price dictated the market, more than anything else, they were competing with cheap badly-made imports from the Far East, and shell-handled knives produced in Sheffield by Richards. It is a wonder that they were able to survive, when so many firms went under, let alone keep producing honest inexpensive knives for ordinary folks. There was no collectors market back then, and many of the features we look for in a knife would be totally unknown to the vast majority of their customers. So, unlike the great Sheffield cutlery houses, which are now long gone, Wright's are probably producing the finest knives they have ever made NOW, for us lucky folks here, and hopefully the quality of the knives they make for us will continue to get better. That has been a struggle to achieve however, because we are demanding customers, and a very small part of their market. Their standard range are good knives and very good value, but they are made to a price, and that price is pretty low
If you hear me at the door, knocking, don’t be afraid, I just want a slice of that pound cake with the swirly frosting on top.Great pics today, guys. Y'all just keep getting better and better.

Mr. Jack thanks for the explanation, I loved Wright's stag knife and it's not that little flaw, that it will change my mind that he is making good knives. However as for the price, they are no longer economical, mine had a total cost of 66.81€...![]()

dc50 Your lambsfoot is safe with that fierce creature protecting it.
@joeradza Very nice Glam image.
@Half/Stop I can’t stop looking at your Ebony Lambsfoot.
Jack Black A great view of a perfect knife.
@pjsjr A fine image.
JTB_5 The angled divide between the light and dark is spectacular.
@JohnDF Great looking from any perspective.
@zolthar I can barely get past the tasty looking sandwich to admire your Lambsfoot.
@Prester John I’m also digging this image.
Dia bom, amigo - respectfully, my thought is that although I agree that paying out hard earned money for a knife is never a priority (unless it is used on the job) - but in today's market, I feel that $75 USD (+ or -) is a reasonable price for knives of this quality....However as for the price, they are no longer economical, mine had a total cost of 66.81€...![]()
I'm glad you like it Senhor JosePersonally, I still think they are very good value for money, their basic Rosewood model, for instance, is still not much more than £30/35 Euros/$40 US I think. It is a shame the postage is so expensive

In other words, o barato sai caro (you get what you pay for).

Here are the pics of the second 20 2019 Guardians Lambsfoot knives. The Pile side pic may help you to identify your knife, but if you want me to edit the 'Class' (Mark side) pic, you'll need to identify your knife in THAT pic
