Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thank you my friend, I need a day off to catch up with Pearl, unfortunately today is unlikely to be it, as I have to go to Wright's tomorrow, and I have some preparation to do before that  Gorgeous pic
Thanks Jack. That is a gorgeous pic of your #1 horn. I do hope your ironwood will be ready to leave rehab tomorrow. Have a good day.

Good morning Guardians!
Beautiful Sunday morning over easy!

Thanks, Dwight we sure need those positive thoughts, we just got a real lowball offer today it kinda upsets Me and the Mrs :confused:
Sorry it's being so frustrating, Dave! More positive thoughts from the flat lands of Oklahoma!
Randy, you are such a positive soul :) Congratulations my friend, I'm really glad you're making progress, well done

Very interesting my friend, would you be kind enough to post a few more pics of it, along with any other info you have?

Fancy that :D I've seen sticks of beeswax on sale in quite a few places lately, though with warmer weather coming (hopefully), they might be well advised to put them back in the store room ;)

Thanks for the pics David, hope you had a smashing time

Congratulations, that's a very nice find, great pics too :)

No pun is too corny for me to stoop to GT  I'm afraid not, but there's some more info about the song here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lion_Sleeps_Tonight

Lovely pic Chin

I can barely see my computer screen at the moment because of bright sunshine outside outside! 'Stag Bone' or 'Bone Stag' are older words for what we would call 'jigged bone' today, though it was specifically tooled and dyed to imitate stag. Sometimes it was just called 'Stag', with the real stuff called 'Genuine Stag' or 'Real Stag', so old catalogues can be confusing. There's also pressed stag (just to confuse things further)

Beautiful photo my friend :)

Cheers my friend, thank you very much :) I was after a bottle of Sam Smith's Yorkshire Stingo yesterday, having never previously tried the heady brew, but I didn't manage to secure a bottle - even in this trendy ale shop in hippy Hebden Bridge ;)

I had a pretty good birthday yesterday, headed over to Huddersfield and found a few pointies in the market. Then went for a great breakfast, snapped this pic of my AC with my coffee, while waiting for the feast to arrive :D

Also got to open a few presents of course :)

After Huddersfield, we headed through some spectacular scenery, over the moors to Hebden Bridge, and after beer and cake, we had another scenic trip to Haworth, and then to Keighley. I'll try to post more pics in the Pearl thread

Carrying my Black Prince today, shown here with one of my birthday cards ;)

Each shot "more gooder" than the last! Nice photos, looks like a great 21st B.Day!
Awsome photo, Dave!! I give it ...2 thumbs up!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Is that a Pierre Cardin Schnitt vom Morgen? I had a couple of those and was a little disappointed that if I left it in the sun, the siliconed on metal covers would slide off.

I can't find mine, of course, but one's pictured in post 273.

Old Stumpy in olden days.

Thanks for the laugh, and compliments too, Dennis :) Nice pic of your '19 :)

Cool! I think comics were best when they were 12 cents. Captain America and Thor are my favourites. Comics today are bizzarre!

Thor was one of my favourites as a kid Vince, you have to admit though, the story is pretty bizarre too :D But then so are the original myths! :D :)

I suspect there'll be a few 'salty tales' in this book, I received for my birthday ;)

Happy travels Preston, nice pic of your '19 :)

Cool! I think comics were best when they were 12 cents. Captain America and Thor are my favourites. Comics today are bizzarre!

I have a collection of about 200 comics from the late 50's through the mid to late 60's I accumulated as a kid. They are stored in protective covers in a controlled environment these days. Most are superhero comics but a lot of the early ones are more kiddie comics as I really was young one time. :D:eek:

Jack my old friend really glad you had a great birthday.:thumbsup:

Thank you, my friend, three more showings today, XXX which means we have to hang out somewhere for 3 hrs again. ;)

Maybe some of the stories were strange, but they were intended as entertainment, primarily for young readers. Today there is some weird, sick stuff out there, I have gathered just by thumbing through some of them. Totally different and not in a good way.
