I’m gonna assume that you Were you an artist (drawing / painting) before you started engraving? Absolutely beautiful work, and I’m sure you will only continue to perfect the craft.

I've been a goldsmith since 2010. I graduated from Iowa state university with a BFA, so you could say I'm a "trained" professional artist. I have a really hard time making more than one or two paintings a year, and a few drawings from time to time. I have a painting I've been working on of my dog for a year and a half :/. The painting of the octopus behind it is half done and several years old... I would never make it as a painter lmao.

Lol right on. That’s sort of how I am with woodworking… I like it, and I am good at it, but I only make 3-4 pieces a year.

The evolution of this scene is just spectacular. The Stag is now a creature of stature and the night scene pulls you in wanting to breathe the night air and see more as the Stag see it.

Yellow (golden) moon is all magic come to life. All complex, yet serene.
