Here is the result of my science experiment. Overnight in a potato. This is a brand new #8 in carbon steel.

Is the blade on the Limited Edition the same thickness as the standard carbon model? I always wanted a slightly thicker blade on a N° 8 or 9 just for kicks.
 
I missed these Opinel forged finish ebony knives, never even got the notification.

I wrote to Opinel and they were surprised by the popularity and said they may make more later this year.

Best looking Opinel ever! Congrats to those that got one.
