I fear as time goes on we will find many more people who did not escape the fire.

The response of our emergency services has not been very good, but the locals are taking care of each other.

I've been reading Maui, wasnt sure if your island got hit or not. I was hoping not. it's a very sad event. I hope we never see another loss of life and property like this on the islands......my prayers are with those affected and rebuilding.....

We had a bad one in 2009. Looking behind our house, the conditions are the same. Very, very dry per usual.

We have to be ready at any time, as fires can start easy and spread fast.

Hopefully we are spared until the rainy season.

Things are not going well in Maui that's for sure. Officials have barely even begun searching the affected areas.

I highly recommend having a plan and supplies ready that align with your region's conditions.
