Well don’t clutch your pearls too tightly on account of me. Look at the rating history for both parties.I’m both shocked and appalled thatKing of the Cheese could possibly be defending the offender here.
Hawkfan should come clear this up, lest it be true.
If only there were a gif of a white knight doing an about-face.Well don’t clutch your pearls too tightly on account of me. Look at the rating history for both parties.

There should be no moving money around if he hadn’t even shipped the knife. Therein lies the problem. The money was not his to move around, spend, invest or whatever he may have done with it until the knife was in the buyers hands and the buyer was satisfied. In this instance he admittedly took the money from the paypal account that the OP paid into and put it elsewhere, before he even shipped the knife. Then he offered a refund via a service where the OP has no recourse to file a claim instead of immediately putting the money BACK into the paypal account OP used and issuing the refund.OK, so Hawkfan is a great seller, with excellent feedback, but very convoluted and complicated when it comes to giving a refund for a knife that was never sent. His issues about moving money around should not be a stress and burden to the buyer.
Well I have no knife I paid for on Nov 24 and no refund, but I did get a hey man I meant to send you a message on Nov 30 that the detent ball fell out after I ask about no tracking updates on the knife.
I believe under the rules(that were changed some time ago),as explained to me, he is going to be able to leave feedback, but I wouldn't rush itAlthoughcalemerson isn’t able to leave bad feedback fortunately this thread will be here for others to see and hopefully after Calemerson is made whole he does not edit the title or OP to remove the circumstances of this deal.
It has been two weeks and the OP has no knife and no refund and we have got nothing from the seller except long winded excuses. I think that it is perfectly acceptable to leave negative feedback at this point.I believe under the rules(that were changed some time ago),as explained to me, he is going to be able to leave feedback, but I wouldn't rush it .

I would just put the link to this thread in the negative feedback. The damage is done toHe could, but he may be better able to describe why after it has been fully sorted out. It won't matter to me, since I have read this thread, but he will need to get the description down to a line for feedback, and that is all many will see.
but this is all up to the OP, I am just suggesting
I doubt time will change the actual rating, but again-not up to me
No refund yet at this point I am glad it was only $240.
At this point I suspect that the lack of a refund is purposeful and perhaps retaliatory against you for even starting this thread. Like others have already said, a PayPal claim may be your best and only recourse. No refund yet at this point I am glad it was only $240.
I’m starting to suspect that is the case. 3 days was all he needed to put this to bed. He clearly doesn’t care to put the refund through at this point. At this point I suspect that the lack of a refund is purposeful and perhaps retaliatory against you for even starting this thread.
