Hawkfan no shipment of knife, no refund

Not sure if you read the thread, but a refund has been issued. They've just hit some snags with the whole process.

Well, with a refund pending (3 weeks after you made payment and NOTHING shipped) and receiving a wonderful story about how another package actually shipped but wasn't tracked by USPS (even though it had no similarity to this mess , or had anything to do with you) , I think most of us can agree Hawkfan Hawkfan (Ebayer knifenerd) has done everything in his power to make things right!

Another one added to the do not do business with list.
 
It should not take 3 weeks to refund a payment if the knife was never shipped.
Several things are suspect here-

-Hawkfan’s immediate movement of money from his knife account
-Every one of hawkfan’s long winded wall-of-text convoluted explanations
-The fact that paypal refunded via e-check when hawkfan could have simply put the $240 back into his knife paypal and hit refund
-hawkfan’s rambling non-sequitur accounts of transactions irrelevant to this one or comparisons to his ebay feedback

He seems OCD, on the spectrum or ADHD based on his postings in this thread and his actions that caused this thread to be started. If that is the case it would explain a lot. Otherwise he is playing games and there is no excuse that i can fathom for hawkfan to have held on to calemerson’s money for this long.

Calmerson- refund pending means you are going to get your money. But there is absolutely no excuse for making you wait this long for it.

I still believe you will get the money, even if it has to come out of PP's pocket
but the length of time this is taking is ridiculous , compounded by his removing it in the 1st place(for an item never sent).
This is all on the seller, and presuming he is allowed to stay around, he had better change his transaction procedures. IMO
Sorry to see you being put through this, nobody should have to.
 
Refund still pending. You think he had anything to do with this? Does he use these same tactics on other platforms he is selling on?
Why do we keep dealing with him?
 
My recent experience with PayPal is they protect sellers more than buyers. I am just about done with PayPal.
 
Call them up. I had a seller take my money and he didn't have the knife in stock. I paid with PayPal and he issues me a refund. Only thing he had no money in his account to refund me and it was cancelled. I called PayPal and the first lady tells me nothing she could do, I got my refund. Called back and another lady told me, it is clear I had not received my refund and PayPal refunded me and paid it themselves, then took the matter up with the seller.
 
Any idea what other platforms and seller names he is using to deal in knives? I want to make sure I keep clear of this dude.
 
He lied from the beginning about slow tracking to hang on to my money. He never had any intention of shipping the knife. Continued to stall to keep my money. I still don’t have the money back and I paid him immediately on 11/24.
