thanks and thanks for the advice!I missed a whole other thread!
Congratulations Linus and good luck
I'll be the first one to reply! In 10 years we'll see another "Anyone recognize this maker's mark.....looks like a 4K?" thread.
No one seems to understand.
I was recently at an event with a bunch of knife collectors, and not one of them recognized the gold chrysanthemum logo.
We were witness to entire generations of digital imagery eliminated in an instant, and yet no one learned….
in progress...Now go make a knife!

Don Fogg. I had to look it up and found a thread from way back about folks not knowing figures without names.Well, it would have helped if I hadn’t returned to this thread from your reply to find that ‘cherry blossom’ was somehow autocorrected to ‘chrysanthemum’, but the effect is the same. And entirely my point, as I’m wagering you likely don’t know who marked his work that way, either. None of the collectors I was with knew, except one that has also been making knives as a hobbyist for a long time.
I’m going to jump back and fix the post, now.
That's the main reason why I never liked hosting photos on a 3rd parties site. I always feared that would happen at some point. And sure enough it did. I wish more forums would make it easier to upload directly. I know at least for this site there are perhaps dozens of photos uploaded or linked daily. So it would take up space. But now days, storage is cheap and the content invaluable.Sorry - so pissed off about the cherry blossom thing, I didn’t address your ‘bold’. The downfall of Photobucket whitewashed roughly 15 years of posts with images of knives. Happened instantly. You don’t have to look any further than Jim Cooper’s pinned post in the custom section to see a decade of his work has vanished.
Did a Google image search using your latest logo. Some look somewhat similar. Might be worth at least changing the color
