Can someone confirm the release dates? I thought the production version was expected in December (going by the Knifecenter information)?

I always thought all versions would be released at the same time..unless Lion Steel is doing them one version at a time (starting with the limited edition..) It would probably be easier that way actually than have a bunch of versions going at the same time..but then again I don't know S#$% about Lion Steel or their methods

The wait will be worth it I'm sure...and since I'm not big into folders (I only own 3), this HEST/F might be the last one I'll ever need to buy.

i think what t-k-c means is that the first run, regular production version, is sold out at his site. and he is taking reservations for the second run which come out in Feb 2011.

My Girlfriend want to make me a Christmas Gift and ask me every week when she can order and pay it ( Good Girl !! )

Yeah I think the LE versions and the 1st run regular version will be released in Dec, and tkc is taking reservations for a tentative 2nd run of the regular version in Feb.

The 1/4" hex slot really works good on this HEST folder.

any chance of making one of the lanyard holes on the fixed blade HEST a 1/4" hex as well?
