I like Dave a lot. Cody is a hardass but not wearing shoes when walking across a glacier. "The mitochondria in my feet are stronger than the mitochondria in Dave's feet...." Lol.
 
Got to spend some time talking with Dave this weekend in person. Great guy, was really surprised that he remembered me from a few e-mail conversations we had a few months back.

Can't wait for the show.

The Cody guy seems like a cool dude, but choosing to go barefoot in the snow..?

Lol, I love his youtube videos, hope he can start doing them again. He had to stop due to Discovery Channel. Ghey.
 
Well I saw 45 minutes until the storm made the dish lose the signal. I was enjoying it until then. Interesting personalities even with required TV drama ;).
Heating the shelter with plastic and mylar was good ! Will be watching it again.
 
Might check Hulu later on for online viewing.

Overall, I give it an 8 out of 10. There has to be drama of course (gag) but they burnt up 20 minutes of the show with bickering and fake drama. They should have had that filled with more survival info. I will say it's probably the best survival show I've seen in a good while.

Good show interesting dynamic between the two. Gotta say Dave made a bad decision exploring at night.
 
I met Cody at Rabbitstick last Sept. His girlfriend was taking a braintanning class that I was also in. It was great hanging out with people like him during that week.
