Lars---micarta is a great choice because it has traction wet or dry, is practically bomb proof and can clean up easily. As compared to g10, it will offer you a "grippier" feel.

Both are great IMO

Jerry said 1.5" earlier in this thread, I believe.

ETA: Width, or thickness? I agree on the .210" thickness, though.

This is what mine's going to look like shortly after I get it :);)! Looks like it's going to be a keeper for me. Love the design already!

I held off as long as I could but I gave in. Satin hog in black canvas. I'm hoping it will be here before the cold weather leaves. It will serve as a good camp knife.

Honestly, it will probably compete with the infi Ratweiler. Loser leaves town match.

Pulled the trigger on Black INFI with maroon handle. It will be going across the Atlantic to The Netherlands!

Was on the fence for just one more??, that setteled that.
This is going to be an awesome

So I got in on the CG midnight and black canvas.

It's too much if an all around, basic knife shape that works so well....and smooth handles.....

Yeah, this will make a good counterpart to my DS8, and I'll now have a <not at worj> EDC INFI set for summer/winter carry. My 511 is my work edc since I'm not out $300ish if I mess it up, and I've got a 2nd in reserve in case I have to send it back to the yard. Plus the smaller blade dimensions make IWB easier with the 511.
