hollywood knives

What did Selene use in Underworld 2, when she killed the werewolf in the tunnel. She threw it at him. It's a famous scene,it was in the trailor and the comercials. it was a fixed blade with a greenish handle.

I think it was a SOG SEAL 2000

I can't remember which movie it was but a woman villan pulls a Benchmade Mel Pardue Auto knife on a guy, it had gangsters and stuff in it, think it might be the sequel to the "Whole Nine Yards" not sure though.

in heat val kilmer uses a spyderco to cut open the money package in the bank vault, dont know which model.

"The whole 10 Yards" was a Pro-Tech Godfather. In "Kiss all the Girls" one of the bad guys uses a SOG Pentagon. The Microtech OTF used in the unit was a HALO II, also used in the unit was a USAF Pilots survival knife.

Punisher- He used an Emerson karambit to slash the guys neck near the end. He waved it out, pretty sweet.

Transporter 2- He had an Emerson fixedblade in his trunk full of weapons.

Gil Hibben has made the knives used in over 30 films. Of course he is famous for his Rambo III bowie but he also designed the Klingon weapons for Star Trek. Several movies and TV shows have used his production designs, some are listed below.

Also in The Punisher, near the beginning Frank Castle is threatened by a villain with a Civilian when they come to kill his family.

I think it was a SOG SEAL 2000

I believe it was a nieto combate, I have one myself AND saw the original prop being sold on Ebay for big bucks. THAT was a nieto combate for sure (though it can look like a sog seal at first glance)

In the final battle of LOTR 1, aragorn or boromir (who cares) killed an uruk by throwing a knife to the neck. The handle looked a bit like the classic KAbar handle, I think.

The old man near the end cut his wrist with a nieto combate. But She had a SOG SEAL knife wached it again last night.

The Transporter: SOG Vision
Black Dog: Spyderco Delica
Anaconda: Spyderco Delica
Entrapment: Delica
Only the Strong: Spyderco Civilian

The recent Hong Kong movie Sha Po Lang (SPL) which has been released Stateside as Kill Zone has a knife-wielding assassin who uses what looks like a red-handled(?) tanto-type knife. The knife scenes are quite well-done and brutal, especially the alley fight with collapsible baton vs. the knife.

iirc its not an auto. i remember reading it was some sort of modified sog.

anybody remember a early 90's movie called 'one false move" where the guy stabs the bound and gagged lady in the heart with a sliver custom dagger? I just remember it was a good looking blade.

What about the knives of the PUNISHER (the original and remake movies)?

He used a Gerber MKII in the original (Dolph Lundgren one) and the second he had some balisong and a OTF that shoots out of the handle. The balisong is probably no-name and the OTF is probably a prop

On4e of the hitmen in the Grisham fim, "The Client" uses a Spydie Police with highly decorated scales and I know that the old Buffy show had people using Delicas and such for very mundane chores such as trimming wires.
