Looks like a great boat Trade and sounds like an awesome place Dubz.
Y'all are making me kind of jealous.
Thanks man. I've always wanted my own cabin. Another nice feature, is that it's only a 3 hour drive from us. Easily go the on a Friday night, and come back Sunday evening.
Haha - That's hilarious!
I could just see someone sitting there in the passenger seat yelling, "Don't spring that **** on me!"
Sounds like somebody we know.
Thanks man. I hear ya. Can't wait, and crossing my fingers. That is awesome man, I hope it works out.. everyone needs a place to bail out at and having a spot of your own makes it that much more special.

Sounds like the perfect place for a Midwest beckerhead gathering too!![]()
Those boats are frickin gorgeous Trade! Good pick ups and I can't wait for the pictures that are about to get posted from you.Both. We wanted to go unsupported for two weeks and these will let us do that easily. Working on a couple of biggies that I hope pan out. Her boat is a kevlar Valley Aquanaut and mine is a slightly higher volume Argonaut. Those limeys can make a kayak, they are tanks.
Hell yes man, I don't blame you. Not sure if you saw my earlier post, but I may be purchasing a small cabin in the hills of Missouri. Found a hell of a good deal. 2.63 acres, with a primitive cabin, i.e., no electric, or water. 2.63 acres don't really mean anything though, since it's on a hillside, haha. I go talk to my old boss on Monday about getting my old job back too. Don't want to work there, but some money is much better than no money.
I know. But not much fun playing on a steep hillside no matter how much land is there, haha. The guy that owns it had a dozer take a bit off the hillside, to put a cabin on.area (sq feet and acres) is measured in the horizontal plane. 2.63 acres is 2.63 acres, flat or on a hill. an old surveyor "joke" is on a hill is more area along the slope.

Going to Chicago tomorrow to pick up my boat. Dropped some coin on my ass too....![]()
Sweet boats, trade. I have a Current Designs Gulfstream that is a really similar English Channel design, a la Derek Hutchins. Drop down skeg and the triple bulkhead....if it's anything like mine, you're totally going to love it. Fast as hell, too. You should easily be able to go for a couple weeks with those. Plan a trip on the MITA (Maine Island Trail Assoc.) when you head in this direction....Thanks Dubz. We took the plunge and got a couple of serious expedition boats. What the hell, you can't take it with you.![]()
