Dubz, always wanted a secluded no frills cabin, hope it works out for you.

Trade, that looks like a serious kayak, looks fast. Be interested in hearing about its maiden voyage.

Jerry D. Got any plans for the 4th. I see the indians are playing the Louisville bats that night.
The 4th of July Bats games are awesome. I worked several of them back in the day when I worked at slugger field.

Hey Todd, did my email go through this time?

Oh, and good luck in Chicago, that place ain't for the faint of heart!

Wilmette was where I was supposed to pick it up. I bailed. I don't care for not being able to carry a little sumpm magnum with me. Going to Asheville to pick one up instead. A little further but a damn site better view and I can visit some friends for a couple of days. :D The one in Ashville is orange and I like that better than yellow anyway.

O.k., daizee, looks good, but what are you having for the main course? Cause that wouldn't be enough to bed down the appetite of us cornfed Indiana boys that's for sure. Multiply that steak by 4, make a loaded baked tater, a fresh ear of sweet corn, and Caesar salad and now where talking. Coarse I probably out weigh you buy 100 lbs. too.

Yeah. Course I probably outweigh Todd by another hundred. Been hitting the gym though. Weight's not really going down yet but my pace is going up pretty quick.

As Todd had mentioned, it's a nice looking aperitif however what are you using as your entree? Todd has a nice supper planned it sounds like.

I'm diggin' the cutting board and the sharp thingy....but I gotta ask....is that...kale? I'm guessing grass fed beef, too.

so.....how was it?

In other news the world may be ending....grilling occurred and my only involvement was lighting the grill. Yessir, it's a sign of the apocalypse - my wife cooked on the grill. I'm still waiting for the lightning strike.

Just had a 6 1/2 foot snake crawl up in my wall. 50 /50 on copperhead or black rat so I didn't grab it while it was going in but damn. It lived past my "you're a dead mother f&^%$er" phase because it hasn't come out and upon learning that copperheads don't get much bigger than 30 inches, I'm guessing it's a black rat. Going to try and trap it tomorrow but still not cool.

*lolz*

I don't eat 'taters except the occasional couple fries. Ooh, that woulda been good with some proper frites....
yeah, I'm pretty low-carb these days. The upside is I can eat plenty of nuts, dark chocolate, and gddamn full-fat+half&half yogurt as much as I please. And lean beef? EFF that. I'm replacing unnartural carbs ('lowfat' crap - LIES!) with natural fats and feel great. I'll do whole-grain carbs for breakfast, but at lunch and dinner they put me to sleep from the sugar rush, and I hate falling asleep except at night.

I'm 152lb, resting heart rate of 50-55 or so, and hope to keep it that way as long as possible.
Oh yeah, and there's room for guilt-free beer. Got 3 types of stout, two different pilsners, and an IPA in the house. Decisions, decisions...

Yep, that's Kale. I'm 50/50 on Kale. it's stupid good for you and uber-cheap, but I think sauteed spinach is better tasting. Sauteed beet greens rock too. Crunchy, colorful food is good. I love a quality salad with a slammin' vinaigrette. Cheese never hurts either... I forgot to chop up the garlic, so it wasn't all it could have been. The NY Strip was great. Totally nailed it - beginner's luck. Not sure if that was the grass-fed beef or not. I was a bit overwhelmed by the selection at the fancymart as I don't buy cuts of meat very often. The butcher had to translate cuts for me into venison terms.

In other, other news, I sent you an e-mail yesterday...hope you received it.

Yup, got it. We're good to go as soon as I dig up the actual dimensions you asked for...

I'm in the process of having the Office Manager help me reorganize all that stuff so I'm less likely to let stuff slip under the radar. Bear with me :o

Dropped some coin on my ass too....:D

Implants or a butt-lift?

I have yet to try kale. We do eat quite a bit of fresh spinach though... it's super easy to grow.

That's about where I'm supposed to be bighoss, I'm about 25lbs over right now but hopefully I'll be there soon

Everyone talks about sauteing, steaming, etc their asparagus, spinach, kale, and other greens. I have absolutely no idea how they taste that way because I can't eat them if they have been cooked in any manner at all, not one little bite.

As soon as any cooked version hits my tongue, gag and barf city.

Give'm to me straight out of the field, wash or beat the dirt off them and I can eat them til I'm stuffed like a tick.
