Giant box of kydex in my Jeep, gonna need molded soon. Does anybody have a Brooklyn Decker mold?

What color kydex? Btw, what would you do with a kydex Brooklyn Decker anyway? Hell, whatever happens in your basement stays in your basement...Accept herpes.

Basement, that's creepy. What I do is an art and should be shared with the world on my front lawn! :D

Kydex- I bought a multicolor sampler pack and a lot extra of od and coyote.

Cool, I thought about getting a pack for myself but probably wont use all the colors. Mind if I take some of that spare OD and coyote from you? :D.

Dont know if you've used the spray can one before but compared to the gel/paint you use is the gel stronger?

We'll find out. I'm out of the gel, and will get the spray next. Will have a 14 inbound as soon as my sheath sells.

Seems like the stuff gets weaker as it gets old. That can has been around a year. Still some splotches. It used to chew through the old coating in 20 minutes. Now an hour isn't good enough. I have to run out for some 100 and 300 grit, might as well get some hell in a can too.

Sand the coating before spraying/painting on the stripper. You dont have to remove it just rough it up so the stripper can get into it. I always rough up the coating and it takes like 5 minutes to remove it and no need for another round of stripping. Literally just sand it it over so it has scratch marks on the coating and your gtg.

Got a quick question for those in the know. I am going to make some wood scales for an izula that I'm giving my brother, and was wondering if there is a good way of protecting the finish on the knife while I sand the scales down. I am referring to the finish on the edges of the handle, and not the blade.

You could always use an extra izula (if you have one) to take the beating for a majority of the sanding. Then swap in his knife the the final fit.

I'd think any two izulas are going to be pretty close, you may not even need to swap his in for the final sanding.

i saw these SOGs at Walfart, for $10, and i laughed and thought 'sell out', but well, who knows?

I dont care for any SOG knives..but the hawks are great. I have had (2) of the fasthawks and I have liked both, and I aint hurt one yet.....and Im hard on stuff LOL. I want to get the full sized SOG hawk soon, and I have heard good things about the SOG machete...but Im not a sawback fan
