I have one of those cheap push mowers, that only has the one speed, etc. Anyways, I hit a tree root with it a few weeks ago. Now it don't rev as high as it should. It started doing that the moment I hit it. I don't see anything wrong that's apparent. Any ideas? I can still mow with it, but I have to walk slow so it cuts everything.
 
Im heading to the Mountains in Pa. in the morning for a few days....I guess I should go pack some gear.

Procrastinate.....Its what I do!

if its the Murray type from walbart...it should have a throttle linkage, sometimes it loosens up and will loose power, it may have wiggled when u hit the root, there is a nut that u can tighten after u pull the throttle wire taut.

hard to explain, but u shld be able to see what Im talking about

That makes sense. I was gonna take it in to the shop tomorrow, but damn, I could probably get another for what it will end up costing.
 
Mornin' from Hawaii. Hopefully I don't have to mow the lawn today. Went to bed with a ferocious toothache that I hope doesn't come back today.

yeah, those mowers work well, but are kind of a ''use up & throw away'' mower. I just run it until simple maintenance/tinkering dont fix it anymore then buy a new one every couple 3 years. U could get a few bucks for it from a small-engine repair place, part it out.

BTW, the Bad Boy zero-turn-radius mowers...AWESOME! I enjoy it lol, and they are made less then 5 miles from where I sit.
 
Just got done shining up the new toy and taking pics. I dare say....I think the BK7 is my new favorite knife! I know it can't chop like the BK9 or JAB, but as a main on-your-side blade, it's friggin awesome! I was never interested in it before...makes me itchy to see how surprised I'll be by the 4 and 5.

I can't warm up to the 7.
Badly wanted to grind away the waddle, but was warned against it. And the ramp... eh.
I think it's too far from anything I want to be worth modding it for my own use.
Now the bottle-opener.... ok. :D

Judging by the looks of your "big" knife collection Tanner, I'd say you're pretty well set to dominate the world...or at least your neighborhood! :D
 
daizee and thrill already discovered, but just on the off chance any of you are needing a relatively cheap gladius-style blade, I just put one up for my first sale item after going orange.

Also, I feel like I have to get a 15 or 5. My wife has taken my Darrel Ralph Gun Hammer radian, and is using it as a kitchen knife. That's a 270 dollar semi-custom folder. Not sure I want it in the kitchen...
