I unwrapped my new Surefire E2D LED Defender (5-200 Lumen model) over Christmas and I love it.
BUT -( Being a guy ) I'm curious as to what accessories/drop-ins/upgrades are available???
Any input or suggestions???

Thanks,

-Hunter

I really don't think there are many upgrades for E series lights. Unless you want a bigger bezel.

About the only way to get more lumens, is send it to a modder. Like Milkyspit on Candlepower forums, he can hot rod it for you. :)

Okay dudes. New mission. What's a good light for the AR-15? Got a nice rail coming, so I need to mount a spotlight on there next.

I wondered about a 6P with Malkoff with some sort of new end cap/switch. But then I searched it and saw these guys recommending duct tape as the mount of choice. Interesting to see Spark post over at thefiringline. Also a little strange that his post count is 666.

Of course, this was back in '02, so who knows? There may be more mount options now.

LaRue Tactical makes damn good light mounts. Perfect for the 6P/Malkoff. You'll just have to decide if you want a tape switch or just a clicky. A lot of people seem to hate the tape switches.

The LaRue Mount is Killa for either - The Tango Down let's you can go either way

I have the 6P set up in a LaRue Mount and use the Tango down grip but positioned the LaRUe/6P so I can hit it with my thumb - or not

Posted this one before. The converted scout has an Malkoff M60 in it. :)

Malkoffs in both those?

I'd like to see pics too.

I'm about to pick up two more 6Ps, I think. One for the truck and one for the AR. Found some for $46 each, shipping included.

ReadbeAR, you go with the inline?

Or the offset?

The offset - it puts the light down where my thumb hits the momentary naturally. I think the inline is for the grip switch

I'll get some pics for you

Found a good pic of the LaRue offset with a 6P LED.

Or I could go with this set-up. :p :D
