How much snark could a snarksnark snark if a snarksnark could snark snark?

That loaf looks good!! Been eating well myself. Need to find my camera charger. People here going to look at me crazy when i start popping off pictures of normal crap LOL.... Im not sure they take a camera out for anything other than a nice catch or kill.... Wedding? No need... Newborn child? Why bother.... That big ol catfish?? Yea we need about 6 zillion shots of that :D

I had fish for dinner tonight. Fried bream caught today and cleaned with good american steel. Mucho Yummy.

"WE" caught 28 today kayaking the creek. I say we in "quotes" because my father caught about 20, brother in law caught the other 8 or so and i caught a buzz paddling around :D

All the rain we been getting had the creek flooded. Then we got SOAKED when the storm hit... We got the kayaks out the water pretty quick.....But kept right on fishing off the sides in the rain!

Going out to the Suwanee river in the big pontoon boat tomorrow. Just to play around.

at the family reunion today I had enough food and dessert for lunch at 11 that I seriously considered skipping dinner at 6 -- then i smelled the food and changed my mind.
seriously contemplating food coma now that I'm not riving any more.....

So I was just about home when the spare tire carrier on my little pickup broke and the spare fell out from under the bed and bounced down the road. Luckily no one was behind me but the tire went down an embankment into a ditch so I had to climb down there and get it. Had to search a bit too since it was all overgrown.

Then I get home and my computer was infected. Had to back up my files and do a factory reset. I've been meaning to do that anyway since a couple things were acting a little wonky. Just got it back up and running so hopefully it's working as it should.

Tomorrow: camping. 24 hours with the BK4.

But....it already is tomorrow.....

Sounds like your having a shit ton of fun in your new digs, WW....or what we here in New England refer to a as "a wicked pissah!" Sounds like you're home.

I took the girls over to the farmer's market yesterday; we had local corn and burgers last night for dinner. The girls had some maple sugar cotton candy from one of the stands, and we got a pint of blueberries that are durned near gone. I'd buy all my produce, dairy and meat for the week there, but I can't afford it, sadly. Even a couple local breweries and winery there.....

Glad to see you pop in, JT....been wondering if you were OK.

Right. And I'm about to head out the door. And since I know GSOM is curious, I'll be packing my Ruger Gp100 .357 magnum with a 4" barrel and adjustable sights. I've got it loaded with Buffalo Bore 180 grain hard cast lead ammo and I'm carrying 4 Safariland Comp II speedloaders for it. The gun rides in a stiff molded codura duty holster from Uncle Mike's and the whole shebang is on an Uncle Mike's duty belt. Here's a couple pictures of it with The King.

geezus. You must have wrists of 4130 chromoly.
My favorite thing about .357 is 180gr XTP's at 1000fps. Subsonic, but good penetration and accuracy. Same muzzle energy as .40 S&W 180's, but more shootable with better downrange ballistics at lower chamber pressures.

Wouldn't mind getting a new .357, all we have is an EMF dakota 1873 nice gun, but wouldn't mind having something a little more modern

Sounds like an awesome time WW. Like Mike said, looks like you're home :D

Took the older two for a walk in the small forest behind our house this morning. Currently sitting on a log watching the oldest carve a stick heh. Turning out to be a good morning. :D

Someone decided it would be a good idea to sneak on my property last night and steal one of Amanda's prized rabbits. Not in a good mood right now and plan on setting up some form of alarm system. Even though it is just a rabbit, It is valued at around $100 and in this area is very rare. Amanda is the only one who is working with this breed in this area and that rabbit and it's offspring are valuable to us.

Any logical advice is welcome.

That is terrible to hear, like cbear suggested, a camera is an awesome to catch someone in the act, and have evidence after the fact... Also dont know if you have a security system, but mine uses all wireless equipment, so you can put entry sensors just about anywhere within range of the base station. I also can program a sensor to text me when it opens or closes, so you can put them on gunsafes, medicine cabinets, bedroom doors, rabbit cages etc lol. Another option would be to set up remote motion detectors. These can be bought online cheap or at a hardware store. Anything walks by, BAM! You'd hear it. They also make standalone "squealers" that are entry sensors that go off if opened and make a loud noise they work alone but do not call the cops or anything. Other options are to set up a trail cam, but if they know its there, they could just take the cam/chip. Best would be to make sure you have a way of knowing if someone is there/seeing someone there. Also, as with your home, the key is to harden the target, make it more difficult, frustrating, risky, and time consuming to get into.

On another side, of things now a days a lot of pets are micro chipped, meaning a chip embedded in their skin has contact info in it if the animal is lost or stolen to verify ownership/find owner. Might be something to do if the rabbits are worth something. Both of my pets are chipped, they were adopted and the shelter does this for you before adoption.

tldr: All in all, make things harder for a person to steal, make things easier for you to know/catch them.

There's a very simple tripwire/alarm screamer device you can make w/radio shack components-I told Amanda I'd send over pics (via f-book). I used one to convince one of our horses not to break out with one-they're LOUD.

That is cool, I'd like to see it.

I was thinking of doing something like this.

It's just been one of those days. I figured I wouldn't bring the board down, so I been kind of quiet. Maybe I need to go cook something.

dresnor - Sorry to hear it. You might consider filing a police report just to get it on the record. I doubt they'll be able to do much of anything, but it might prove useful in the future.
